It really is remarkable how pretty Mario Sunshine remains.

Wonderful fan art that captures everything in spirit; https://i.etsystatic.com/16426205/r/il/e74480/1400643818/il_570xN.1400643818_qqia.jpg

Honestly one of my favorite games ever in aesthetics. The pure atmosphere, imagination, and soul put into this is insane.

There's just a bizarre sense of quirkiness and a special brand of surrealism that's just hard to replicate here.

The fact that this is a 2002 game, an early 3D game, and it still looks this pretty is a testament to how strong great art direction is.

I might even find this game prettier than Galaxy and Odyssey, but it's hard to say.

Noki Bay and Pinna Park are probably my favorite Mario levels of all time.

Sunshine really nailed visual presentation.
