"likes" getting me down... :(

Let me open with: art is in fact selfish, and I think it's important to take shots that make you proud, happy, pleased, entertained, fulfilled, and all of the above ☺️

Having said that... Does anyone ever feel frustrated over perceived lack of "likes" for their pictures on Instagram? For me, I can't help but feel a little soul crushed when I take a shot that I feel so proud of, or finally nail a new technique in-shot or in Lightroom, and it falls flat on IG, getting maybe 20 or so likes while cat selfies and generic filters are getting 100+ likes...

I do use some hashtags but try to limit them to under 10 hashtages per post (when I was doing my hashtags, my account kept getting hacked!)

Anyone have any words or encouragement? Advice? Thanks all!!
