Yamaceles

Yamaceles (or as I like to call it Yamaburg) is one of my least favorite ships in the franchise. I was hoping I’d get the chance to cut it and lucky for me Shaymin dabbed on Yonmeno so I can kill this stupid ship myself.

Let’s start with the obvious, that of course being how toxic this ship is. Hifumi has feelings for Celestia sure, but does she return the favor? Nope. She sees Hifumi as nothing more then a pawn that she can use to her own advantage, with no concern for him and his life whatsoever (we’ll return to this later). She makes him serve her like a queen, by making him bring her tea and even sitting at him at times. And if things aren’t to her liking? She snaps at the guy and orders him around. In an UDP she even told Hifumi that if he didn’t step up his game she’d replace him with Kirumi, who served tea much more to her liking.

Now let’s dive into Hifumi’s side of things. His love for Celestia is...kinda creepy if we’re being honest. In the anthology he wrote a doujin featuring Celestia and Makoto with Celestia asking Makoto to touch her breasts and eventually diving down and allowing him to foddle them. This is all of course in Hifumi’s imagination but it’s also kinda creepy. And I mean Hetalia voice actors x reader type creepy and drawing spicy Spectiplier art creepy. I know this is DR we’re talking about here but even by those standards that’s seriously creepy. Not that Celestia minds of course. She loves being worshipped like a Queen by this guy, but he isn’t enough for her. Say Celestia got her dream one day by means of magic and got some servants with the same level of devotion. She’d toss Hifumi out in a heartbeat not caring about a single thing that could happen to him.

Next it’s time for Chapter 3 which really hits the head on the nail why this ship is so awful. Celestia manipulates Hifumi into killing Taka and because the poor dude is so blindsided by lust he does it and what does she do in return? She kills him. She shows no remorse or anything for it and used him as a stepping stone for her own personal gain. Could she have cared about Hifumi pre tragedy? Maybe. But given the UTPD where she shows no signs of caring for him I seriously doubt it. All Hifumi is to her is a pawn, something to be used and she could care less about him.

The TLDR is that this ship is terrible because of how toxic and manipulative it is. Hifumi would honestly be way better off having a Princess Pingles body pillow then be with Celestia and chapter three alone shows this clearly. I do respect people who ship it, but I see no value in it as Hifumi is just Celestia’s prop.
