Where I live there are only chain nail salons with Asian women. While I appreciate the work they do the business seems to be get as many people in and out as fast as possible. They don’t like being brought Pinterest pics and unless you’re getting giant ass acrylics they won’t do nail art. So I’ve just decided to do this myself.
Problem is I like shellac. It’s hardy and lasts for awhile.
I want to invest in a (I think it’s called) curing nail light and some shellac top coats. I feel like I can do the designs and colours I want with regular stuff or paints then once fully dry go over the top with clear shellac.
Although I have a feeling it’s not that simple and probably doesn’t work like that. Some tips would be very appreciated.
