I remember this comic on DeviantArt. It was a short strip where Jade from Homestuck temporarily took on the mannerisms of a dog. She bit things, pounced on people, etc.
It had a realistic artstyle, Jade's skin was brown, and Jade was barefoot (with black claws for nails).
