Holy. Shit. Everything I've ever wanted out of dragon ball has been this arc. This tournament was amazing and all of the fights and fighters were so much more memorable than the last one. To me its finally coming together as a real martial arts anime instead of a comedy with martial arts and I LOOOOVE IT. The rivalry between the Crane and Turtle schools and the bad ass that is Tien have been introduced and I was absolutely blown away. Master Roshi finally giving up the mantle of Jackie Chun because of a new era really got to me, although I'll miss it a lot. He always has his surprises, especially with his conversation with Tien!
The Good: Every fight was good! We got some crazy fights and memorable scenes and a nail biting finisher (damn that delivery truck!) Along with two wonderful new characters in Tien and Chioatzu (he a lil creepy tho). F**k Master Crane though, big time. I'm glad Tien had a big character change in losing his will to kill, it made me so happy to see them grow as characters. Also Goku and Krillin kicked so much butt yet again! Absolutely wonderful. Krillin has really improved as a fighter!
The Bad: Not much honestly. Fk Master Crane. Fk who ever killed Krillin at the end (I hope Goku kills him) I really have nothing negative to say. This has been the cream if the dragon ball crop for me.
Favorite moment: Tien deciding he wants to win for himself instead of revenge
Least favorite moment: Pamput's manager dragging goku away from the arena... I felt like it took away from the rest of the Saga.
Predictions:
It was the Red Ribbon Army out for revenge that killed Krillin and took the Dragon Balls (please let me be right!)
Tien and Goku will team up!
Old Predictions:
Goku will beat Krillin (yes!) And yamcha (nope)
Goku will beat Jackie Chun and win the tournament (Not even close)
The RRA will come back for revenge! (Maybe? Uncertain.)
Yamcha and Bulma will break up (still waiting bc Yamcha deserves better)
