[Pactdice] A Basic Spell List for Augury

Lately i have been extremely interested in how magic is implemented in Pactdice (mostly using different versions of the basic realms spell "door" to experiment and compare), and after watching Web DM's video about divination in DnD, i got a hankering to hammer out Augury in a way that was fun both to play and GM for, while also staying true to how magic works in Pact. Here's what i have so far, any feedback is very welcome:

Augury (Immaterial x Lore) -

Augury is the art of reading the future and knowing the unknowable. Powerful in their own right, Augurs tend to place a nail in a future event or scene; by seeing the future, they make it more likely to happen, and the universe will contrive to make it possible. With this in mind, they must move very carefully; resisting or working against a future very often creates a backlash. An individual seen in a future may find they tend to scrape by and survive despite the odds, but being reckless with their life may see fate conspire against them once the event has passed. Working with this future and such can change the context to the event. Many augurs will choose vaguer means and be selective in how they announce or use it, to give that event more or less power.

(the official description)

School Mechanic: A ±Xd modifier to any rolls represents how the universe contrives to make predictions occur. Below, "context" refers to the situations when this modifier applies and "weight" refers to the modifier's severity.

Basic Spells -

  • Portent (Mark Lore): Designate a thing at hand or an event happening right now as being important or auspicious, adding weight to its context.

  • Prophesy (Image Lore): Craft and present a prophecy. The form it takes and what you do/don't mention shapes context; how hardy and elaborate it is and who knows about it determines weight. (Ex. whispering to someone has a minor effect on only them, but engraved poetry that's prominently displayed will reshape events in a wide area until destroyed, and a popular book might be nearly impossible to root out.)

  • Read Fortune (Ask Lore): Perform a short ritual and ask a binary question about the future. You receive the answer (DMs are encouraged to flip a coin); how you ask shapes context, related/successive questions add weight.

  • Future Vision (Immaterial Sight): For the duration, you see different possible futures like rivers, larger and clearer the more likely to happen and closer to the present they are, but it's very distracting and looking at any of them for too much blurs and alters things.

  • Repercussions (Immaterial Memory): Recall a past event, making it more relevant to current events, contributing more context. More effective the more intimately involved you were to that event, and the more the event and current ones have in common.

i have a few more odds and ends i've made that i like, but this is the first complete-ish school i've done.
