Instagram nails

I have worn acrylic nails for years and have been fascinated with nail art for a long time, but only recently discovered stamping plates. I have been stamping for several months now and look at Instagram a lot to get ideas. I have been taking good care of my cuticles and hands and I thought I was doing really well, until I took my first picture. I had planned to start posting on Instagram. I have no desire to try and become some famous nail stamper. I just simply wanted to share. I used a light box so the lighting was no issue, but when I saw the picture, my nails were definitely not Instagram worthy. I saw imperfections here and there. I know that there is lots of photo editing on Instagram, and I am familiar with Facetune, but it seems like some of the nail stamping on Instagram is just that good. The main thing I am seeing in the nail artists I follow is that they have perfect cuticles and their nail polish is applied perfectly. Is it really possible to edit pictures that well or are they just that perfect? I just don't want to be striving for an ideal that really does not even exist. Here is an example: https://www.instagram.com/p/BmTfXg0BoZ5/?tagged=uberchicbeauty
