I thought I was going to a warehouse, I met a guy from one of my favourite podcasts instead

So I'm poor, and I'm constantly looking for odd jobs here in Toronto. I get an email from someone asking for help at a warehouse that seems to be on a street incredibly close to me. I have walked up and down this street many times, I should have paid attention to the fact that the postal code was included with the address, and it's not similar to my postal code, giving me a clue that I was looking for 124 Portland Street in Etobicoke, not 124 Portland Street right in Toronto.

So I get there and knock on the door, a man comes to the door, I say that I'm here for the warehouse job, confused, he tells me that this is actually a talent agency. As he's speaking, it starts to feel quite surreal as I realize that this man is a host on one of my favourite local podcasts. I feel relieved I didn't mention my last name, because if I had and he recognized it, it could have come across like some sort of weird scheme.

Anyway I ended up making it to the actual warehouse. It was for some sort of art show involving fossils. I left early because I was afraid of breaking something and there were too many boards with nails sticking out of them, especially since it's a podcast that allows for audience suggestion, and I seem to be the only person ever mentioned for sending them in.
