So I'm struggling with Radiant PV and wondering about how his stagger works. I've been trying to use Flukenest to make the fight less painfully long, but I'm not sure if I'm actually doing full damage with it while he's staggered. Does anyone know if PV has a damage limit he can take while staggered (the way, say, Grimm has in bat form) and is it useless to spam Flukenest into him at that time? To be clear for those who haven't tried it, Flukenest doesn't "hit" him, and thus doesn't break him out of stagger.
As a sidenote, what are some good damage dealing tips against him? Single nail hits are all fine and dandy but I'm used to bosses being receptive to damage from various sources, and PV seems to be designed not to allow for anything but Shade Soul. The only other comparable boss, NKG, is extremely vulnerable to both nail arts and Abyss Shriek. I've seen many videos that use Descending Dark often on PV, but in my experience over countless tries using it is a death wish because it doesn't allow you to react fast enough to certain things he can do as an instant counter to any of the 3 hits of DD (most notably, the teleport-groundstab and the giant energy orb). Abyss Shriek is likewise unusable because of his wonky hitbox and generally being a death wish in such a fast fight. Thoughts?
