The Ghost has a 0% chance getting in Smash but I feel in the future if indie characters start to become more relevant (like Shovel Knight), they could have a chance to be a playable character. After all, this is just speculation.
Moveset: His normal jabs and ground attacks could utilise his nail and even void tendrils if needed. Aerials would be similar to previous attacks, would try to feel similar to his actual game with large strikes to make up for his small size. Smash attacks would probably be his nail arts with down being spin, forward being slash, and although not smash attack his dash could be the dash slash. Rolling/dodging would be his shadow cloak or maybe normal dash. Specials, this is where is gets interesting. He could either have a dedicated soul Meter where his specials would use soul (you gain soul by attacking people), or his specials could damage you with percent acting as soul but I think option 1 is better. Down special would be descending doom or whatever it's called, up s. would be the soul one and neutral s. would be the shadow blast (sorry I forget the names of these thing I haven't played in a while). Side special could be the dash but a long one used for recovery. Because of not having a normal recovery I would say he could have high jumps and monarch wings as a second or third along with utilising his side special and air dodges to get back to the stage. It is certainly not complete but those are my thoughts.
Skins: His alts could consist of the different masks of the siblings, maybe Zote and Hornet as well as a other characters. The most likely is just recolours but it's nice to dream.
Stages: I feel that it would have at least one Hollow Knight stage in the game but here are my thoughts on what they could be; Forgotten crossroads (with the platforms that have all the small animals), Dirtmouth, Black egg temple, forgotten village, and queens garden (Traitor Lord arena).
That's all, share your thoughts in the comments!
