I've noticed most types tend to get saddled with really negative stereotypes, but people don't talk about how a lot of type descriptions have unrealistically good stereotypes as well.
For me personally, I questioned whether I was really an INFP for a long time because they seemed too artistically gifted and pure based on the stereotypes alone. Not that I'm not creative, because I am naturally, but a lot of descriptions make INFPs sound like virtuosos of writing and art who are crazy prolific. Most INFP descriptions also make them sound super angelic and like they don't make selfish mistakes or have ill feelings towards others unless pushed really far.
I hate to admit this, but I kinda empathize with the really negative stereotypes more. INFP weaknesses really hit the nail on the head for me as far as my struggles in life. MBTI has really helped me cope a lot with how I cope, so to speak.
