Flirting with people of the same sex your partner is doesn't mean that you love your partner any less and that you'd cheat on them.

Some people are like that. Some are naturally flirtatious without having any thought behind their behaviour. Some are very much like that and don't even notice it because that's exactly how they were all their life up to that point. It's much more like a social behaviour than a "mating call"

In my case, I'm a hetero cis guy, with a hetero cis female partner of 3 years now. I am a very friendly person to begin with and quite feminine so I was always surrounded by female friends from the age of 10 and I socialised to be treating women like their female friends, with compliments, joking flirtyness and interest in topics that most guys would just pretend to be interested in, to have more chance by a girl... so yeah I am happy to tak about nail art, and makeup because I would honestly like to be a aprt time nail artist...

But yeah this all can come across flirty to my partner and also others, which she is fine with after we had talked this through at week one but still, many think that flirtatiousness is cheaty behaviour...
