Hey, I'm a total beginner when it comes to resin, aside from playing about a bit with epoxy resin during college. I've been looking into UV Resin, but I've found conflicting information about the curing process online, and I want to make sure I get it right!

Does the wattage matter on the lamp? Is there a "good range" of wattage for a UV lamp that means the curing will go smootest? I've read most nail-art UV lamps will work fine, but a lot of them are vastly different wattages and such.
-
I've seen that some types of UV Resin need the lamps with LEDs, and some need lamps with bulbs - how can one tell the difference? And is the difference extremely important? Right now I have some QiaoQiaoDIY hard resin, but if I got really into it I'd probably look into getting some of the higher quality stuff, like PADICO resins. I read before that the Qiao Qiao DIY stuff needs bulb-UV, but the PADICO stuff needs LED UVs?

Once cured, does the resin need to be coated in anything or is it completely safe to give to people (as gifts, charms, etc?)
I guess additionally, does anyone have any lamp recommendations? I've been looking for one (England), but haven't been able to find anywhere local that sells any.
