[OTHER] Another day, another flimsy Zelda/Netflix rumor...

So, there seems to be yet another rumor about a Zelda show on Netflix making its rounds around the web, mainly on the French side. A couple of news articles on this rumor link to this IMDb listing for their source. This wouldn't be so bad if there weren't a few glaring issues with the page. First off, it is notably missing a list of the people who are supposedly working on the show. The only information on the listing is the description, production companies, keywords and genres, and the Trivia section. Speaking of the Trivia section, something else that sets off another red flag is this bit:

"Season 1 will be done in an art style like Netflix's "Castlevania". Season 2 will be done in Ralph Bakshi-esque art style. Season 3 will be done in a Studio Ghibli art style."

I don't know about you, but having a show's artstyle change so drastically for every season seems really implausible, unnecessary, and very difficult to pull-off properly. What really puts the final nail in the coffin for me, aside from the fact that every rumor about a Zelda adaptation on Netflix to date has been debunked, is that this IMDb page came without any official announcement from Nintendo or Netflix. Additionally, looking at the film's IMDbPro page reveals that the film, or at least its production status, was last updated on June 30, 2019. In my speculatory opinion, the listing for this "show" was likely an abandoned fan work or someone's abandoned dream Zelda film that a few news outlets thought would make great clickbait material.

Sorry if this post was rather weak or rushed. I have college shortly and I wanted to get this out here first before the rumor did. I'll probably touch it up throughout the day.
