I find myself binge watching these shows and can't put them down. Lucifer, Dexter, Dare Devil, and White Collar to name a few.
I love watching Lucifer. I went through the whole series about 4 times in 6 months. He's just blending in as a normal person, but has this dark secret around him. The show did a great job at blueballing watchers, is he going to tell her? He is? He's not? Maybe now? THREE whole seasons of it! A little annoying but it was so exciting! In a pinch he could do some amazing things. Use some of that power he's been hiding at the risk of exposure. They really nailed the personality too.
Dexter is incredible I just couldn't put it down. Trying to blend in, trying to cover his tracks, the thrill of the hunt, it's so enthralling. Sure it got weird and the finally was horrible, but man it started out so good and even the later seasons had their moments.
Dare Devil was awesome. He looks like he's just a blind lawyer, but underneath, he's a force to be reckoned with. It's a dark secret though, hiding from friends trying to keep them safe and away from that part of his life.
White Collar has a different feel from the rest but I still liked how he could blend in and con just about anyone. He had all this talent at art, stealth, disguise, and just personality. It had a similar feel in that he would seem harmless to his marks but underneath he had all this talent and ability to play them to get what he wanted.
I also like the cheesy werewolf and vampire shows. Same kind of theme, blending in, dark secrets. Some I like more than others. Most recently I liked Bitten, there's a great strong female lead.
I don't know why but I just love these shows. They're trying to blend in with normal life but have this dark secret. This power they're trying to hide. It just captures me. Anyone else feel the same way? Any recommendations?
