I am AFAB 30+ and have never been to a nail salon before. My first appointment is in a couple of days. As it is mostly women that go to nail salons, hopefully I can get some advice here...
Is nail art usually included when a manicure / pedicure includes "colour"? It sounds like it means one colour of nail polish and I don't know if it would be inappropriate to ask for anything other than that. I am interested in nail art and bold designs but don't want to seem demanding by asking for more than what I have paid for.
If you are a nail tech, do you expect people to request fancy nail designs when they go for a manicure, or is it too much for the standard time slot? I am planning to take my own polish as they don't have the brand I like. Is it ok to ask a tech to do my nail art with my own polish?
I am nervous about going and could really use advice on how I should approach the nail art issue. Thanks!
