With Joker, Gemini man, and Zombieland 2. Has Hollywood learned its lesson and finally decided to make entertaining movies again?

God I had to get this off my chest after seeing that there is a Zombieland 2 and it is releasing fairly soon. I can give you the whole back story but I've completed to screenplays in 2017 and went through the process of getting approval through contests like the Nicholl, Sundance initiative, in Austin Film Festival. To no one's surprise with little success.

You can blame that or you can blame the whole woke culture for making me disinterested in film making in general. I haven't been to the movies since Infinity War. And although I did enjoy Infinity War overall, it was the definition of the modern-day cinematic film. A technical Masterpiece that was built for 2 things only. Revenue and complacency. It was remarkable that a film that is so artistically beautiful can be shallow at the same time. And it became the definition of the modern-day movie. As a film geek that grew up on Tarantino and PT Anderson, you can imagine how disillusioned i became.

Combine that with the fact that I just have a natural Flair of pissing off any Progressive was the death nail of any career I could aspire to have in this town.

I grew tired of the voices that screamed for diversity. But diversity of faces only. Not diversity of thought. As a writer that would qualify as a diverse voice, you can see the dilemmas that this would have me in should I speak out or push back.

But maybe now there is a wave of change that is coming. People like Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese that are pushing back and speaking out against this mainstream narrative of what film is. And now the fact that these three releases Sans Gemini man seem to be showing a new tide. I know there is a number of you that may be annoyed, offended, or even angered by this post but this is a post that needed to be made.

I now ask you. The proven and aspiring writers of the world. Where are we headed to next? Is it truly our job to try and educate every man woman and child on what is right, and what their moral value should be? Or is it at our job to entertain and to leave all Care at the door? No matter how offensive the next images may seem to others.

I bet you can tell that I am excited. I do feel renewed but I know that there is a bigger fight up ahead. I stare and scoff at the next GateKeeper that has already prepared my scripts for the paper shredder and I challenge them quantify what makes someone's art worthy of their standards.

I've heard that audacity, not talent maybe the ingredients to success in the entertainment world. And now with the release like Joker, and Zombieland 2 and others. Has Hollywood finally returned to form, where the almighty dollar is the Arbiter of what's great and not someone's feelings?
