Okay, let me start off by saying that no, this isn't just gonna be about every subjects bevause there are some useful ones, but rather a rant about History, Literature, Geography, Music and Arts. In backwards order of what I just mentioned them.
So, first off, Arts. Why the fuck are they taking away hours away from people's life, when 90% of the time 90% of the class doesn't give a shit about drawing and painting and is just roughhousing In the back? If kids wanted to do Arts, they would on their own and get even better than at school, I mean WTF do kids have to draw bowls of fruit? How is that gonna help in their life?
Second: Music... Literally the same fucking thing as Arts. 90% of kids do not give a fuck about it, never will but their time is still getting stolen by school.
Third: Geography.. Okay.. if you can tell me right now 1 good fucking reason how knowing how many rivers are in Africa or how many big Geographic parts Australia has or in what order countries joined the EU or which parts of South-America are good to grow carrots when I live in the shithole called Hungary that literally none of these places resemble at all thus basically making the information useless helps I'll give you 3 billion USD. Not only are these pieces of knowledge boring to learn, but I will also NEVER nees them. We learn most Geography about other countries, which I will nevet be able to visit, because this shithole of a country pays so little (~4$ is the minimum wage) that if I don't have a good, family like relationship with someone in the parlament, I will never have enough money, especially when the basic needs cost too fucking much. A loaf of bread? Well let me tell you, the cheapest is about 8$ in some stores, a lollipo that's about the size of your nail? Fucken 3$. 0.35 liter can of soda? 4$. What I'm saying is Hungary is a piece of shit, and Geography will never be needed. Ever.
Fourth: Literature. I think it's pretty self explanitory. Why the fuck are they forcing me to learn 4 A4 pages of bullshit, when everyone I'm learning about is dead, and didn't make a change in History? Some may say "Well, at least you know of them". SO? Useless information isn't knowledge. It's bullshit. Also, why are they forcing me to learn a 5 page song in a week, with such complicated features even some professionals mess it up?
Fifth: History. Why oh why? Let's start from the beginning: how is knowing that cavemen were hunters and scavengers, that they didn't farm and had no clue how to get fire gonna help me? How is knowing that Lucie was the name scientists gave to a skeleton from old ages gonna help me in the real life? How is knowing that vikings and pirates shared their love of brutality and ships gonna help me? How is knowing of how people created the thought of god gonna help me, if I'm an atheist? How is knowing that crusades happened gonna help me? How is knowing people thought witches were real and often burned and drowned people because of that gonna fucking help me? How is knowing Christopher Columbus thought he could go around the Earth to india in 3 weeks gonna help me? How is knowing he was ridiculed and hated for thinking that by the flat Earth believing people gonna help me? How is knowing when he did this gonna help me? How is knowing how Hitler became the dictator of Germany gonna help me? How is knowing Germany lost both world wars gonna help me? How is knowing exactly how much area Hungary and Germany lost combined In both world wars gonna help me? How is knowing when and where and with what pistol Hitler killed himself gonna help me? How is knowing at what minute exactly the second world war started gonna help me? How is knowing that Churchill didn't give up after being bombed to shit by Germany gonna help me? HOW IS ANY OF THIS IMPORTANT, YET HERE WE ARE, NOT KNOWING ANY FUCKING THING AT ALL ABOUT RENT PAYING, LOAN PAYING, GETTING A HOUSE AND MORE WHEN WE FINISH STUDYING?
Lastly, I wanna talk about how useless English is. How and what they teach In school is completely and utterly bullshit. I've learned this level of English not from school, not from a private teacher, and not from classes online or stuff like that. I learned from the internet, and yet my classmates, who study at school and go to private teachers at the same time don't even know what the difference between though, thought and tough are. I can't fully blame them though. It would be very hard to know the difference for me too, if I didn't know what they meant, just like my classmates. I even corrected my teacher, and she started arguing with me and basically told me to STFU cuz she's the teacher, then 10 minutes later she said "I thought about it, and my name is right." and if that doesn't show how bad things are, nothing does.
TL;DR: 99.99% of people will never use Arts or Music in their life. 110% of people will never use Geography. 135% of people will never use Literature, and 200% of people will never use History. Also, the English teaching System is a piece of shit.
