It is impossible to use a plasma force field for a long time. The fact is that the protective system very quickly heats and ionizes the air, which is dangerous for people under its protection. Nevertheless, being activated for several moments, the force field is able to fulfill the role of a kind of "airbag".
And despite the fact that we are now talking about fantastic things, a similar thing has long existed in nature - a shield that surrounds our planet and protects it from cosmic radiation and solar wind. And it arises thanks to the energy of the Earth's magnetosphere. If we talk about something more mundane, now people have already learned how to create local regions of high-frequency plasma.
