My previous post about my 'zine idea didn't get much traction but I wanted to let you all know I've got 18 artists and they are all amazing! I'm the project manager and I'm doing a ton to make sure this goes off without a hitch! (And let me tell you, that's tough as nails!)
The 'zine itself comprises of original and some fan art! Utena and Sailor Galaxia are making an appearance, the most notable of the fanart, and there's a TON of original comics as well! They are 10-pages, cover and 9 pages of actual content, and honestly they all look amazing.
The rewards vary from an enamel pin to cute acrylic charms! (One of Finn Fish too! I asked on my Instagram story and majority says she counts as a 'dark magical girl' so we went with it! XD) We will also have backer commissions! (Prices are still in the works.)
I made sure to let the artists know it's more PG-16, so it's not extreme like Magical Girl Site. (I think that's the one.) It's a little more on par with Madoka in terms of violence and gore. I'm not a fan of the EXTREME so I wanted that to reflect in this 'zine.
I just wanted to let you all know! Thanks for being here! I love this subreddit, you never know what's going to pop up as a post!
