Academic work on the lifecycle of a YouTube vlogger/content creator?

Hoping you guys can help me locate some work about the lifecycle of YouTube creators. Even a well written investigative journal article would work.

What I mean by the lifecycle is Some youtubers start by creating content for a specific community. Then over time they run out of ideas and transition to other types of content. For example, Simply Nailogical started out by making videos that focused pretty strictly to nail art creations. Then she started posting nail art challenges and now she has a mix of these and just general vlog content (IMHO).

I respect what these people do, just looking to read some work on what people propose for how this lifecycle develops. Maybe it’s a sociology question? I’m not sure. I’m an engineer.
