This is an idea that I thought about making for a long time, it's a new Sonic Fighter. The last time we've gotten an official Sonic fighting game was back on the Game Boy Advance with Sonic Battle. It's been 15 years since the release of it, so a new Fighter would be really cool. My idea is that it would be a 3D Fighting Game developed in-house by SEGA and Sonic Team, having a solid mix of Fighting Game and Sonic elements when it comes to the gameplay.
STORY
With the power of the Master Emerald, The echidna tribe was able to create 8 new gems called the Chaos Cores. These Chaos Cores are way smaller than a Chaos Emerald, but one core has more power than all 7 combined. With these cores, Eggman was able to revive other villains from Sonic's past to take over the world. Sonic and friends hearing that, they go out to take them all down.

NEW CHARACTER BIOS:
TERIOS THE HEDGEHOG
Using the power of the Chaos Cores, Dr. Eggman was able to create a distorted clone of Sonic using the cores' negative energy. Similar to both Sonic and Shadow, Terios is very fast when it comes to movement speed, with the ability to use Chaos power to his advantage, concentrating the energy into spears, blasts, and beams. Terios is a narcissistic power-hungry clone that will turn on his allies abruptly and on a dime. He also gains a special amount of Chaos energy from his right eye, which is infused with the same amount of energy as 7 Chaos Cores, which allows him to turn Super very easily.
NAILS THE BAT
Similar to Terios, Eggman also created a clone of Rouge out of the power of the Chaos Cores. She is exactly like Rouge, with the ability to fly and use GUN tech to her advantage. She's very honorary and flirtatious, but has a more sinister side to her that most don't know about.
