MaRo confirmed that the Lady in the Lake and the Little Mermaid are both Merfolk. We can hopefully expect at least two fish in the set.

arjaysking asked: Hi Mark, RE: the Eldraine art previews. Are the Lady in the Lake and the Little Mermaid the same character or just both Merfolk. It helps that the same artist did both pieces so there's a lot of similarities between the two. Same skin and hair colors, same mottling on the skin, webbing between fingers, long nails/claws. So are they the same character or same kind of creature?

They are both Merfolk but different characters.
