So leading up to the Ryzen 3000 launch I got quite a few friends interested in building PCs and playing games together. This led to several builds, from $800 all the way up to $3500, all of which hinged on Ryzen 3000 as that is what everyone wanted. So here are a few builds that we have put together in the last week or so:
PC Master Race
This was the highest end build we did and man was it a lot, here are the specs:
Corsair 570X Crystal Red
Ryzen 3900X
MSI Godlike X570
Asus Strix 2080 TI
32GB 3600MHz C16 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
2x Corsair MP600 2TB
1x Samsung 970 Plus 1TB
CoolerMaster ML360R
EVGA Supernova 1000W T2
Alienware 34" curved monitor (A3418DW)
Asus ProArt PA27AC
Corsair K95 Platinum
Corsair Ironclaw RGB
This build just plain worked with everything in it, no issues with the 3900x or getting the memory to 3600MHz as listed. It's a beast and looks gorgeous.

The Backup
So this one was build as a backup for the one about, as his home PC, as the other would stay at the office:
Phanteks Case (Can't remember the model)
Ryzen 3700x
MSI Ace X570
Asus Strix 2080 TI
16GB 3000MHz C15 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
Samsung 970 Plus 1TB
Corsair H115i
EVGA 750W G3
This case was a slight rebuild from an older PC that was a gen 1 Ryzen, swapped out the Motherboard, CPU, and RAM. Then threw in a 2080 TI for good measure. Again the 3700x works great in this board, I did get it to 3000MHz without issue and will be tweaking and overclocking it to try and get 3600 out of it. Would have went higher for the RAM but it was a last minute add and that was the only set BestBuy had in :( no MicroCenters out in FL.

Wife Build
Naturally the wife cannot be left out! So we put this one together just for her.
Fractal Meshify C
Ryzen 3700X
Asus Crosshair Hero VII (BIOS 2406)
AMD 5700XT
16GB 3200MHz C16 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
Samsung 970 Plus 1TB
EVGA 750W B3
I was a bit concerned on the BIOS for the C7 and if it would support Ryzen at launch properly or not. But this just worked without issue. Got the memory up to it's listed specs and no issues with it at all. We are also swapping out the stock cooler for a CoolerMaster ML240 here soon, hence why the AMD logo is still upside down. I do wish I could have hidden those cables on the bottom more, but with the 3 fans on the front, I couldn't get the plate on the shroud to hid em.

The Swap
Once a few friends saw what we were doing the bug to build new PCs spread pretty quick. So this one was a previous Intel guy that had an HP Omen and wanted to step into the custom build realm.
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv
Ryzen 3600
Asus Crosshair Hero VI (BIOS 7106)
Nvidia 1070 GTX FE
16GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX C16
Samsung 850 EVO 1TB
EVGA 850W GQ
6x Corsair LL 120
This was another nail biter for me, I was a bit concerned about the CH6 and handling a 3600 with the early BIOS, but yet again, it just worked without issues... Got the RAM up to 3200MHz without much effort and it runs great. Also he dumped quite a bit into the Corsair LLs and man do they look pretty.

The LAN Case
Naturally we had two others that wanted mini PCs and something super portable, so they could take it with them wherever they went.
BitFenix Prodigy M
Ryzen 3600
ASRock B450M Steel Legend (BIOS 2.30)
EVGA RTX 2070 Super
16GB 3200MHz C16 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB
Corsair H80i V2
Corsair RMx 650W
This was probably the most concerning for me, we had to hit a certain budget and went with a B450M board, which who knew if it would really work with Ryzen 3000. With some trial and error we got them up and running without much of a hiccup. The biggest issue was that I missed the M on the model number, like and idiot and couldn't get the BIOS to update... After that everything worked fine and we got into Windows no issues. Haven't messed with the RAM yet as I have seen a lot of people running into issues with RAM and these early BIOS, so I will tweak that when a more stable BIOS is out.

My Baby
While it isn't Ryzen 3000 yet I did rebuild my case as well and put some TLC into it, because well I got the bug too haha.
Lian Li O-11 Dyanmic
Ryzen 2600
Asus Crosshair Hero VII
Nvidia 2070 Super FE
32GB 3200MHz C16 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
Samsung 970 500GB
Corsair H100i Pro
EVGA 750W G2
3x Corsair LL 120s
This is still a work in progress, going to add more RGB because that's always the answer right? But I do love the case and it's looks.

Not Done Yet
After all of that we are still not done, we have one more case to build and we are waiting on parts, but coming soon....

This has been a fun adventure so far and I figured I would share our experiences and show off what we have built. Thanks for looking!
