[Let's Build] D100 traits for characters who grew up away from civilization.

Maybe a barbarian or a druid is a Tarzan type, who was raised by animals in the wilderness, maybe a young sorcerer was kept isolated because their guardians feared letting their power out into the world. There are many different interesting characters that are outsiders to civilization. Let's add some traits that would encourage interesting roleplaying to this background

1) Invents names for items they don't know of, such as calling a dagger a "big metal tooth"

2) Will quickly and messily scarf down any food put in front of them.

3) Prefers to sleep on hay in the stables instead of at the inn with the rest of the party

4) Constantly exasperates people by asking too many questions all the time

5) A very light sleeper thanks to a bad encounter with some wildlife during the night. (u/apple_of_doom)

16) Does not understand the concept of ownership, especially when it relates to animals, so will track and stalk pets and beasts of burden for food. When they are successful, they will kindly offer to share their kill with the party. (u/Tupac_Presley)

19) Has the habit of openly grooming themself and others (u/Decactus_Jack)

20) Subconsciously guards party members when they relieve themselves or eat (may also tend to the rear to keep everyone in sight; as they are the most intelligent being around in their past experience they exhibit subconscious shepherding behavior. 28) Has immense difficulty with the use and concept of stairs (may be okay with ladders) (u/Decactus_Jack)

29) Often unfazed when a crazy event happens, assuming it is just one of the many unfamiliar things that happen in civilization (u/Decactus_Jack)

30) Alternatively, often surprised by mundane things, particularly finding it hard to believe anything natural found in civilization is normal (u/Decactus_Jack)

31) Does not fully grasp the concept of money, but understands it is valuable. As such will collect and try to trade things resembling currency (by material, size/shape, or imagery), such as stamps, nails, the tops of acorns, etc. (u/Decactus_Jack)

32) Misunderstands music and art, confusing them with magic or communication (i.e. for music, the sound of a lute to them is the instrument trying to communicate with other lutes... The concept will probably be learned quickly, but might be a funny early experience) (u/Decactus_Jack)
