My first play through , playing it blind , how much should I explore?

As the title mentioned, playing it the first time with minimum looking up. I'm afraid there will be story / dialogue exclusive to before some permanent change. Like Or

Feel free to recommend some handy charm I should have gotten or area I should explore.

I'm planning to 100% the game but I don't want to miss intermediate plot
