[Introduction]
Main Character Info
Full Name: Elizabeth Elise Summers, Unclaimed
Nickname(s)—Elizabeth has gotten used to having many different names, and isn’t bothered by somebody using one or even all of them; some of the more common ones are Livvy, Liv, Liz, and Lisa, but she’s also been called Beth, and most recently, Scarlet, for her hair and eyes. Some even call her ‘Scar,’ though she bears no highly visible scars.
Birthdate: June 21 (The Summer Solstice)
Place of birth/hometown: Pawnee, OK
Ethnic background: 1/4 Native American, 1/4 White, and apparently, 1/2 god.
Religion: Well, that's kind of in question right now.
Pets: Scar isn’t fond of commitment to animals, or at least keeping them caged, and would rather them go on about the wild like they are supposed to. However, it isn’t rare to see her accompanied by an animal friend or two or ten.
Sexuality: depends on the day/partner in question; uncertain… yeah, let’s go with uncertain. She’s a teen and hasn’t exactly cemented any of that yet.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 120lbs
Body type: thin, athletic-ish
Eye color: amber/red
Glasses/contacts: nope, she can see just fine, just has weird eyes lol
Skin tone: very tan, probably the only Native American thing about her appearance-wise.
Prominent features: Freckles are scattered across her face. She also has very thick eyebrows.
Hair color/style: Liv’s hair is a fiery red, which complements (and almost matches) her amber eyes. It is long and usually kept in braids, tying itself together.
Hair Texture: Wavy AF. Not cute and curly, not perfect and straight, just annoyingly hard to control.
SPEECH AND LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION:
Pace of speech: Scar speaks at a very normal and understandable rate, usually speeding up when she’s ranting about something, or slowing down when she’s trying to be serious or caring.
Voice tone: Her voice is very soft and comforting. It’s not squeaky by any means, but not deep, either—a soothing medium.
Accent/dialect: Being from the deep countryside, she has developed a bit of an accent, which is a mixture of the farmers’ from her town and her grandparent’s original Native American dialect.
Favorite/habitual words/phrases: ‘Oopsie’, ‘Thing’, ‘Literally’
Curse words: The S word, the F word, the… yeah, let’s just say she curses a lot, primarily when she’s in pain or messes something up.
Demeanor:
-
Friendly
-
Shy/Reserved
-
Easy-going
Posture:
-
Relaxed
-
Slouchy, careless
Gestures:
- Liv talks a lot with her hands—when she actually gets involved in a conversation, that is.
Common/habitual gestures:
-
Nail biting (ew, right)
-
Twisting the ends of her hair
EVERYDAY BEHAVIOR / HABITS:
Sleep Habits:
- Liz has a hard time falling asleep, but usually stays out when she finally does. She enjoys sleeping outside, under a tent or even a tree, but can make do with a normal bed, given enough time to adapt.
Does she have any special talents, hobbies, or skills?
Well, I’m happy you asked, kind reader! Glad you’re still with me.
- Liz is and always will be attracted to the outdoors. There’s just something about nature that she’s drawn to, that she can’t keep away from. She enjoys hiking, which she’s grown experienced in, along with swimming, backpacking, camping, kayaking… you name it, if it’s an outside activity, she’s down.
Is there anything she is particularly unskilled at?
- Plenty, actually! Liz has never had much luck with technology or social confrontations. She’s a pretty laid back gal, and would prefer to skate by on the sidelines than to take charge in a situation. She gets along better with animals than humans, which means she isn’t great at social events, but at least she tries!
Any hobbies (sports, games, arts, collecting, etc.)?
- Aside from her outdoor activities, Scar enjoys drawing on occasion.
THE PAST:
- Liz has always been a ‘wandering soul’, but after the passing of her father, and the end of a long-term relationship, she was finally given the chance to be free. Her past life wasn’t rough by any means, and being ‘free’ isn’t exactly a good thing. After a long year or so of traveling, she started to notice some… weird things happening—strange people were following her, trying to attack her, you know, the usual demigod stuff. Scar had lived most of her life in the forgotten realms of Indian Nation Oklahoma so didn’t show up much on the monster radar. However, after traveling a bit across the plains, she started to make her existence a bit more obvious. It was only by a streak of luck that she ran into a stray Satyr, who insisted she joined camp—a safe place for special people like her. It took weeks of convincing and a good amount of trust to finally agree.
MENTAL ATTITUDE/PERSONAL BELIEFS:
Psychological issues: Liz tries to see the best in people, but seems to see the worst in herself. She is very insecure, even if she doesn’t always show it.
Is she an optimist or pessimist? Primarily an optimist.
-
She is most comfortable when outside or with a select few people instead of a large group.
-
She is most uncomfortable when in a large crowd and an unnecessarily loud environment. However, she wouldn't exactly turn down an invitation to hang out.
Is she cautious, brave, or reckless in her approach to life? Liz is very curious, but not necessarily reckless. She enjoys exploring, so can be considered brave, but wouldn’t be the first to jump into a fight, even for the innocent.
What does she value the most? Love. Not specifically romantic love, either—love for family, love for friends, love for animals, and yes, romantic love, too.
Whom or what would she be willing to die for? The world. The actual world, that is. Liz has a secret life purpose to protect nature and animals, and if it really came down to it, she would hope that she would die for the cause.
Is she generally compassionate or self-involved? Liz is generally compassionate.
Personal philosophy: Everybody has some good in them, it just takes the right kind of person to bring it out. Nobody is a lost cause.
What’s her most embarrassing moment? This one time where she agreed to go skinny dipping and some popular girls stole her clothes.
What is his/her secret wish? World peace, end hunger? Average pacifist stuff.
What (or who) is his/her biggest fear? That one day, her lack of strength will bite her in the ass.
Character's greatest strength: Compassion
Other good characteristics: Curious, creative, sympathetic, kind, loving
Character's greatest flaw: The need for everyone to be good, and the trust she automatically puts in them.
Other character flaws She can’t enjoy food if it's not spicy. Is that a flaw?
Biggest regret: Not spending enough time with her father and grandparents.
Other regrets: Not rescuing enough animals from kill shelters.
Proudest accomplishment: She hiked the Appalachian trail!
Other accomplishments: Liz made an A in horticulture, which she secretly was hoping for.
Quirks: She enjoys depressing bluegrass and outlaw country music, which doesn’t exactly agree with her mentality/attitude. It reminds her of her father, who was a true Indian Cowboy.
Character's biggest secret(s): That she secretly hates everyone and everything and plans to snap ¾ of them out of existence She may or may not be still in love with her ex-boyfriend.
How does she react to a crisis? Usually is the one to calm everyone down, tries to find the most experienced one in the group to handle the grungy stuff
For fun, here’s a paragraph of Elizabeth describing herself;
“I’m about as average as a girl can get. I guess what really stands out about me is my hair, which is a deep red, almost the color of like, blood. The center of my face is covered in freckles, which I don’t really like. I’m skinny and borderline frail, but kind of athletic because of how much I hike. I could definitely have better hygiene habits; I’ll be the first to admit it… but I guess I have other priorities. I’m not very fond of how I look, but I do my best to be the best kind of person I can be, and that’s the only thing that really matters in the end, I guess. No matter what, I will help anybody in need, and if I have something that could help them, I will do my best to do it.”
Short term goals: Find out more about this demigod stuff she's been hearing about.
Long term goals: Do her part in making the Earth a better place.
LIKES/FAVORITES:
Food: She’s a vegetarian. But her favorite food is avocado.
Drink: Liz only really drinks water but can find happiness in a cup of tea every now and then.
Color: Green!
Book: The Stranger. Why does she like this book about an ordinary man finding himself committing senseless murder? She has no idea. But she likes it.
Film: The Departed, because it’s never boring.
TV Show: Parks and Recreation, because it’s funny AF.
NOW:
Elizabeth has had quite the journey but is excited about her new beginnings. She makes her way over Half-Blood hill and looks around for somebody to help. Liz's appearance isn't quite elegant, considering she has pine needles sticking out of her braids and dirt from the outdoors caked onto her clothing, but hey, she's still naturally pretty, if you can get past that.
