(TLDR: Is anyone hoping to see this game flourish? Are people wanting to buy this game now, or once the majority of bugs are cleared, if the bugs are actually in the final build?)
I had a shit bug, then I had another shit bug.
But the gameplay, the colossus gameplay has me.
I rarely put more then 100 hours into a game, that level of "dedication" is not my thing, but exceptions exist.
324 hours Warframe, 159 hours Destiny II, 428 hours Diablo III. (Obligatory hours played)
This game, with only the demo gameplay, has me drawn in more then Warframe or Destiny II,
Destiny, the looting system is abysmal when trying to cap your light level, if you have terrible luck, I quit before forsaken @ 2 before max light, and its possible they made changes that can help, but paying for another expansion after it left a bit of salt in my mouth with its strike changes during warmind, buying was not going to happen. Destiny balancing changes often seem to be influenced by PvP, and this was really the nail in the coffin for me at that point.
Warframe, is good enough imo. The grind if you want to play f2p, is, lengthy. I bought Ivara, fuck grinding her.The art style is not to my taste, sadly, it ends up being a large part of why I don't play more.
Diablo III, I bought it 1 year after release, I got game play out of it, builds feel a bit too cheesy imo, if you want to do 70+ rifts.
Beyond certain essential pieces or abstract connectives, Anthem is a different game, it takes advantage of vertical gameplay, and brings it to new levels, if you choose to play that way. Abilities are tied to loot, which echoes path of exile in some way, I find this refreshing now, but may end up hating it, considering my luck with rng. and the game has a fantastic combo system encouraging cheesy builds or excellent teamwork.
If this game manages to fix the exp bug I and my playgroup had, if it fixes the performance on ps4pro, that me an everyone except the person with a SSD had. I am buying day2.
EA BAD! (I hear this prevents the downvotes) /s
