Any tips for a beginner in nail art, polish, care etc.?

I want to get into painting my nails and doing nail art etc. but idk where to start. I don’t know how to take care of them or what polishes/ tools to use. I’m also interested in acrylics as well but would rather focus on using my own nail first. I see so many cute designs on Instagram and want to start so please leave some advice/ tips! :)
