A Charm Setup Guide for the Pantheon of Hallownest:
Starting charms: Strength, Quickslash, Mark of Pride, Steady Body, Thorns of Agony
- I can’t be bothered to waste any time on these starter bosses, so I just throw on these spam-heavy charms with thorns to increase damage when I end up tanking hits while inevitably being too careless and impatient.
Post Oro and Mato charms: Strength, Mark of Pride, Shaman Stone, Spell Twister
- Xero gives me trouble without spells, so I just fill up on soul at the bench and get nail hits until he starts firing nails constantly, then I just shade soul him until he dies. These are also pretty good for Oblobbles and Sisters of Battle.
Post Sisters of Battle charms: Quickslash, Mark of Pride, Shaman Stone, Spell Twister
- Quickslash is better for these next bosses than Strength, whereas I much prefer Strength for Sisters of Battle because I’m not fast enough to hit them twice each opening even with Quickslash, so now you know why I say Strength over Quickslash for the previous period.
Post Paintmaster Sheo charms: Strength, Mark of Pride, Quickslash, Longnail
- These aren’t ideal but I need all the reach I can get for Collector, Sly, and Hornet 2.
Post Hornet 2 charms: Strength, Mark of Pride, Quickslash, Steady Body, Defender’s Crest
- I kinda suck at Lost Kin without the Crest cheese, but he’s the only real threat in this period so I can afford to spend a notch to ensure victory.
Post White Defender charms: Strength, Mark of Pride, Quickslash, Steady Body, Nailmaster’s Glory
- These are all decent against all the bosses in this period, I just feel a lot more comfortable with nail arts for Markoth and Nightmare King Grimm.
Post Nightmare King Grimm charms: Strength, Mark of Pride, Shaman Stone, Longnail
- These are the best charms I know of for ending Pure Vessel quickly, and you need that fight to be over quickly. They’re also pretty good for Absolute Radiance.
