Unpopular opinion: P is a real B

Ok, so everybody thinks the Jim/Pam power couple is the end all be all. It’s cute and all, but Jim could do so much better. Pam holds Jim back in so many ways. All the way from season one Pam is the cause of Jim’s stagnation. He gets hired and then decides to keep essentially a dead end job because he likes the receptionist. He even says so at some point and when the opportunity comes to take a better job at a different company, she tells him she’s glad he didn’t take the job. He’s too busy chasing her to see better opportunities elsewhere. Also, she kills the relationship with Katie by continuing to string Jim along. Then comes the pranks. Now I understand that it’s a TV show and it wouldn’t be as entertaining without the pranks, but when Jim comes back from Stamford he’s decided to let go of the Ora Kong. He’s made positive changes in his life and he has matured. That is until Pam drags him back into his pre-Stamford days. So finally, the one comes where Jim and Pam get together. Yay, happy day right? Wrong! Pam chooses to leave for art school (which in and of itself is stupid, but that’s not the point). She nails on their relationship and forces him back into stagnation while he has to wait on her to make her dream come true. Then she fails out and goes back to complacency. Then without including Jim in her decision, she leaves her job and joins MSPC., making him the primary means of income and support for their family. Then in the final few seasons where Jim decides he’s gonna take the same leap Pam took and start his business (which had a sound business plan, platforms run and funding) Pam grinds it in Jim’s face. She’s rude, spiteful and down right mean to Jim about his decisions, and she acts like a complete brat when Jim is out of town. This all culminates in Jim essentially giving up on his dream Job to save his marriage (which honestly if it weren’t for the children wouldn’t be worth trying to save in my opinion). Pam is the absolute worst in my opinion. Fight me.
