I'm currently playing through the first pantheon and in the middle of fighting dung defender, the Cyclone Slash just stopped doing damage. I'm not sure if I took damage while using it, or if it was interrupted by his mid-battle roar, but no matter how many times I used it, it didn't do anything. It's currently two fights later, on the brooding mawlek, and the art still isn't doing any damage. I'm playing switch version in handheld mode. The charms I had on were Void Heart, Nailmaster's Glory, Grimmchild, Longnail, Grubberfly's Elegy, and Sharp Shadow, in that order. I had enough slots so it wasn't an overcharm either. The other nail arts still work, although I can't confirm whether or not they did anything unusual. I left the area with the dreamgate, and the effects currently still persist. Zero damage of any kind with the Cyclone Slash, and no knockback either.
UPDATE: Removing Nailmaster's Glory fixes the bug, but putting it back on makes it happen again. Sitting on a bench has no effect otherwise.
UPDATE 2: Actually, no combination of charms fixes it, I was mistaken. It turns out that the side hitboxes don't work, but you can still hurt enemies from above using the Cyclone Slash. Restarting the game did fix it, though.
