Lardo gives out DH's number to other women in attempt to break us up

Lardo has done quite a bit to get DH and I to break up. She has no issues telling everyone and anyone that I am no good for DH, that she believes DH could do a lot better, or that I am just using DH. She has tried to spread lies and rumors about us, such as claiming I am cheating on my husband or that he is cheating on me.

Here's an info nugget about DH: He never mastered the art of flirting. On our first date, he commented on how lovely my ears are. (Later turns out he meant eyes, but he was so nervous he just rolled with the ears comment.) He's a friendly guy though and will treat anyone he meets with respect, until he decides they do not deserve it, but his friendliness tends to get him in trouble because people take it for flirting! I don't know why friendly = flirting to some people.

He's also oblivious when it comes to women hitting on him. In his mind, he doesn't think a woman would hit on him because he is married. (Even when I point out that he is a very sexy man, if I do say so myself, and that women are attracted to him, regardless of wife or no wife.) It's always entertaining to watch some woman come up trying to get with him and him giving her the brush off because he just doesn't get that woman is into him. (I mean, it took him months to really figure out I was interested in him.)

Funny example was he went out one night with some friends. Apparently some female was hanging around them and when it was time for them to leave, handed him a napkin, which he just shoved into his pocket. He thought she was handing him her trash because she couldn't find a trash can! When I found it while doing laundry, the look of confusion and shock and terror crossed his face within a span of five seconds. He thought I was about to dump him right then and there for taking another woman's phone number.

Luckily, I trust my DH completely, but you see what I am working with here now.

One day, FIL had asked DH to accompany him to a store to pick up an order (think it was a TV stand or table, I can't remember other than it was a heavy item that FIL needed help lifting.) Lardo tagged along because it gave her the chance to be around her baaaaaaby without me.

I was told, later on by FIL, that the cashier checking them out took a liking to DH. She was being friendly and flirty and giggly and DH never picked up on it. DH is a friendly guy, so he talked back, but not in the way one would think when being hit on. Apparently, Lardo hung back while the boys put the box into the car under the disguise of looking for an item. In reality, she was giving this cashier my husband's phone number.

Which the cashier called the next day while DH and his boss were trying to fix our sink. DH's head and upper body was buried under our kitchen sink while fighting with what I can only picture as a very stubborn nut or bolt or nail. DH asked me to answer his phone, in case it was a business client, which I did.

Me: Hello?

Cashier: Hi, is DH there?

Me: May I ask who is calling?

Cashier: This is [Cashier's Name] from [Store.]

Me: Uh... may I ask what this is in regards to?

Cashier: Um. He was in the store yesterday and his mother gave me his phone number, claiming he was too shy to do it himself...

Me: I'm sorry, what?

Cashier: Who is this?

Me: His WIFE.

Cashier: *click*

When I told DH who it was, why she was calling, and how she got his phone number, he sort of lost it. He called Lardo, telling her to butt out of his love life and that he was 1000% in love with me and no bimbo from some store would change that for him. I felt bad for the poor cashier, but who really thinks a man in his 30s would need his mommy to give out his phone number to girls?

There were other attempts to end our marriage that Lardo tried to pull, including stealing his wedding ring. I'll tell that story another day.
