[DISCUSSION] Looking for a NY-based guitarist with modern art-rock leanings

Hey guys,

I'm a singer, songwriter, pianist, producer and mix engineer, currently working full-time on a solo project. My work is heavily influenced by art-rock and post-punk, particularly St Vincent, The National, Bowie, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Radiohead, Leonard Cohen and Nine Inch Nails* - I think of it as literary art-rock with a strong electronic edge.

I'm looking for a guitarist to join this project, ideally in Brooklyn, since collaborating in person is way better.

I would love to find full-blown creative collaborator, with overlapping musical interests, good chops, solid music theory, enough time to dedicate to the project, and their own strong creative voice. Session musicians are easy to hire, but I'd much rather co-write with someone awesome :)

Personally, I'm particularly in love with guitarists like the Dessner brothers, Daniel Kessler, Blixa Bargeld, St Vincent and Martin Gore.

This is a pretty serious project - it's my full-time occupation, and I'm actively building the connections required to make a go of it professionally. Because I'm a producer (with my own studio, etc), I handle the recording and mixing sides of things myself, which helps move things along nicely.

So - does this sound relevant to you? Alternatively, do you have suggestions as to where I should be looking?

Thanks guys!
