My (f34) fiance freaked out while I was playing with our (f8) daughter

Ok. Not sure how to tell the story without giving away information.. my fiance was abused as a child, so I completely understand some of her fears/limits. We've been together for over 5 years.

While playing with my 8year old step daughter for summer vacation we've been having lots of fun. Riding the scooter, making forts, playing video games, doing arts n crafts. Taking the family to Mani/pedi nail salons. Etc. Trying to be a fun and good dad.

Last night I let her cut my hair for "SPA day". She didn't really cut my hair, but you get it. Then she died it with some die sticks. Some got on the floor and my feet.

Like we do at the spa as a family, I let her wash my foot. Just harmless fun. She just rinsed it off a little. We cleaned up the mess we made in the bathroom and she had dinner and went to bed.

My fiance tho, saw her splashing and wiping my feet and lost her shit.. lost it.

Telling me how unnacceptable that is. A grown man in the bathroom with a little girl. I've crossed the line and I need to seriously think things through next time. She's pissed. Telling me she never wants to see anything remotely close to that again. What was a thinking. Etc.

*Edit: I think we're getting off topic. She's not accusing me of anything. She's saying I need to be aware of how it "could" sound to someone else, and how it "could" get her daughter taken away. How I need to have strict lines that don't get crossed.

I've never ever given her any reason to think I'd ever do anything inappropriate. Never.

I was just trying to have fun. Do I need to be way way more cautious with these things, or is my fiance over reacting because of her past? Or do we both need to do things differently? I would never in a million years do anything bad.

tl;Dr my fiance got super mad and said I need to think about what I'm doing when I'm playing with my 8-year old step daughter. Freaked out when I let her wash off my foot that she spilled something on.
