The unarmed weapons

No, silly, not the bionic that removes an arm from you. :D The weapons that can be used with martial arts!

It seems the standard recommendation has been the cestus. And indeed, I've battered many thousands of zombies with cesti. But is it really the best? Here's the damage per turn of the unarmed weapons:

• cestus: 12/89 = 13.5
• punch dagger: 12/71 = 16.9
• tiger claws: 7/66 = 10.6
• razorbar katar: 16/92 = 17.3
• nail knuckles: 6/76 = 7.8
• steel knuckles: 8/76 = 10.5
• brass knuckles: 6/70 = 8.5
• monomolecular blade: 36/78 = 46.1
• bionic claws: 24/73 = 32.8

So, the punch dagger is quite a bit better, isn't it? Is there something I don't know about the damage calculations? Is the cestus only recommended because it's easy to craft, where the punch dagger is hard to craft? Punch daggers drop with those dead parties in the wilderness all the time! What's the scoop?
