Anything I should know before I start? Screen change on tablet

Will I need software change If I change the screen??

I finally got the screen from aliexpress. I will try to break up the upper layer of my tablet soon. The replacement was supposed to come with screen change tools. But I recieved none in the package. But I am going to start anyway. Too excited and a bit imptient. Yaay!

I have rubber gloves, a small “+” screw tool thingie. I have thin rubber gloves.

I have a hairdryer as a glue gun.

Despite having played with lego as a kid and attempted art school, I have shake hands. i couldn’t fix a watch for thr life of me. But I can clip my nails. And write decently.

I have a table, food lighting.

What I do not have is glue, screen clips(the ones that looks like guitar pick/ triangle thingies), and any kind of holders.

I will be doint the initial disassembly on a worn pilates mat. When I get to hairdryer/glue gun I’ll need some metallic surface. I will use the wooden table and a somewhat big dish. Dish for eating.

I think I got it. If I run into a “no glue” problem I’ll put the project on hold.
