"Iɴ wilds beyond they speak your name with reverence and regret …"
Rows are A–D, columns are 1–10. For instance, A3 Stalwart Shell is in the top row, third from the left.
A1 Wayward Compass
A charm with an affinity for those who hold a map.
It's kept in store, so if you're lost just ask that humming chap.
A2 Gathering Swarm
A swarm of helpful little, er… would that be called a "fly"?
Regardless, this'll buy itself if you're a little sly.
A3 Stalwart Shell
A weakling with resilience is not out when they're down—
There's time to beat a quick retreat and scurry back to town.
A4 Soul Catcher
It's whispered that in every foe there's power to be found…
You'll trip on this one on your way to leave an ancient mound.
A5 Shaman Stone
The lakeside connoisseur keeps any charms she thinks are neat,
Not caring if they deal in works arcane and force replete.
A6 Soul Eater
A passage hid beneath a place where dead were laid to rest;
Another 'neath the bearer of a difficult request.
A draw for power, though be warned: the power isn't pretty—
The stuff of vile experiments forbidden in the city.
A7 Dashmaster
A dashing bug, they say he was—a master of his art!
Do warriors keep his monument? It stands a bit apart…
A8 Sprintmaster
Impatience is a vice… or so a fool would have you think,
But haste can get in places locked and out before you blink.
"Don't touch whatever's in there, right? The owner's bound to see."—
If instincts serve you well, then you'll have made off with the key!
A9 Grubsong
They say there's power trapped in all that lives, including you,
Though not all things are you inclined to put a nail through.
And things more physical are trapped beneath the surface ground.
To free them is your task; to find them… do you hear the sound?
A10 Grubberfly's Elegy
When all such things are loosed shall you be worthy of reward:
A charm to master nailplay like that legendary sword.
B1 Fragile Heart
A creak upon a corpse upon a crag upon a creek,
Dissolved in which are oafs who thought vitality to seek.
B2 Fragile Greed
And cretins who for Geo sought, the coveters of cash—
Believed contentment could be bought. Was their repayment rash?
B3 Fragile Strength
The greatest fools of all, though, sought to overwhelm their foes.
I'll take the legs of this one. Then we'll see how far it goes.
B4 Spell Twister
The attic of the birthplace of experiments amiss;
They wanted to control it, but their usage was remiss.
B5 Steady Body
One needn't be obsessed to know a nail's not a mace,
But something light as you may yet need aid to keep in place.
B6 Heavy Blow
The mace is not reserved, though, for uncultivated brutes;
It's good for "fixing" door locks, and for other fine pursuits.
B7 Quick Slash
A greedy Nailmaster tossed unwanted blades below.
Though dull they were, not worthless—these were anything but slow.
B8 Longnail
When combat has you stretching out with all your might and zest,
And still it's not enough, seek out the one who's charm-obsessed.
B9 Mark of Pride
To those who best the best, the warriors' proudest treasure goes.
Their influence reach far, and death to all whom they oppose!
B10 Fury of the Fallen
All kings must pass, they say, but fearing death's a natural thing.
Some turn that fear to fury, dishing out a wicked sting.
C1 Thorns of Agony
To amble in the bramble, and to scurry through the burrs—
The greenery is meaner in the scenery of furze.
C2 Baldur Shell
A cliffside cache, a scant reward—you scrounge about for more
And find a sturdy shell or two. (Or, really, three or four.)
C3 Flukenest
To extricate this charm, your feet will get a little wet.
You spell defeat for one that's ever eager to beget.
C4 Defender's Crest
He left his past behind—there's not a thing that he regretted!
Content—no, really!—quite content to guard that place so fetid.
C5 Glowing Womb
A wall that's false, a hidden nest, the mother of the lot;
'Twas quite a busy crossroads once, though now long since forgot.
C6 Quick Focus
To keep one's cool is hard around a creature so sublime,
And meditating's tough when you just haven't got the time.
C7 Deep Focus
In ancient mines, not wealth alone—the depths of minds pursued.
You'll take the time to savor all the power you've accrued.
C8 Lifeblood Heart
She says this stuff secreted is a considered a taboo.
That's not to say such things would much concern the likes of you.
C9 Lifeblood Core
Far deeper than the bravest pioneers now dare proceed,
A viscous, volatile vitality's the key you need.
C10 Joni's Blessing
To tamper with one's hemolymph—it's heresy, they say.
Exiled to the blasted plain, he lingers to this day.
D1 Hiveblood
At kingdom's border, apian warriors guard their hidden hive,
Shut off from other lands. Their charm could help you stay alive.
D2 Spore Shroom
'Neath a station named for Root
Where carapaces ceased commute.
Endless march in empty shell,
Releasing spores that march as well.
D3 Sharp Shadow
A deep unrest, where beasts continue evermore to crawl;
A razor's edge to get you through; awash in dark your shawl.
D4 Shape of Unn
The strange and shellless slitherer, its home the acid lake.
A gift for all who enter there, a better form to take.
D5 Nailmaster's Glory
A little sanctuary in a home atop a cliff;
A place of isolation at the brink, and manner stiff;
A studio 'mid thorny brush, new dreams to realize;
And last of all, the master's hall, wherein is found the prize.
D6 Weaversong
Though barricaded weakly, beasts have hid their treasure well:
A miniature cavalry, opponents to dispel.
D7 Dream Wielder
This kingdom's days of yore, where once so many spirits dreamed—
Now long deceased. O hollow nest, your essence be redeemed.
D8 Dreamshield
An aegis yours, though quite unlike the threefold one they set;
It's near where you awoke when they determined you a threat.
D9 Grimmchild / Carefree Melody
Simple sparks ignite a fire
To fulfill a timeless rite,
Driven forth by howling wind.
Douse, or set the world alight?
D10 Kingsoul
In ages past they sang a hymn of anguish and of awe,
Of sight beyond their senselessness, and of a higher law.
A world of beast and bug, but crisis they could not abate.
This symbol of the throne, now held in fragmentary state.
A piece is held by Root, who's hid away in her retreat,
So long neglected, overgrown, so beautiful and sweet.
A piece is held by Wyrm, secured in strongly guarded mind,
The palace brought along when he his kingdom left behind.
Though once divided, fractured, they again can make a whole.
Unite, for all of Hallownest, and draw its boundless SOUL!
B1–B3 replacements: Unbreakable Heart / Greed / Strength
Scentless one, you brought me gifts?
So polite! You're quite divine—
What? You want to take them back…?
No! They're gifts! That means they're mine!
D10 replacement: Void Heart
The darkest place makes way for light: the birthplace of the Void.
Now face yourself. Unite them, Knight. The light must be destroyed.
