The reason buzzy baby makes buzz noises is because he felt left out when he was a kid; the queen, seeking to comfort him, explains how to make his very own buzz sounds with his mouth. despite his battle prowess, his mind is akin to a child's, continuing up to his very last moments to make the buzz noises of his childhood.

Quirrel reminiscing at blue lake, either after ghost sat with him or having not visited him at all. He stands, stabs his nail into the sand, and turns around with his past words echoing in his head--how death was certain without a weapon. All the meanwhile, however, a first faint outline of ghost making their way to the radience, becoming increasingly stronger, and increasingly prominent, goes on beside- until finally it disappears altogether, a long final frame of quirrel alone in an infection-ridden world the only conclusion left behind
Music vid idea: the radiance (in a smaller, more personal form) singing sickly sweet nothings to the still-conscious thk as they struggle to remain apathetic despite her words. Eventually, however, they cannot help but feel the sting of emotion, at which she smirks, knowing her escape was won.

Worst challenge - rather than the lord, it is traitor’s child you must fight; with the flower, of course, in hand.
How do grubs stay alive in their containers? Does the collector regularly come by to care for them?

Pure knight still has a voice, but has been rendered psychologically mute by what wyrm has ingrained into them. Thk's roar was drawn from pure, unadulterated agony.
The radiance is able to "become the sun" at will, just absolutely obliterating the eyeballs of anyone in the immediate vicinity

The siblings physically traveling to the back egg temple during the battle, terrifying the entirety of hallownest in the proccess
Why did platforms appear leading up to the radiance? Was that her, the siblings, or the dream realm itself? If the dream realm can be affected by the host's mental state, do the platforms have some subtle psychological connotations?

The radiance is not malevolent, but merely hopelessly lonely. She is reaching out through the cracks in the only way she knows how, in a desperate attempt to bring someone- anyone - into the dream with her. Without her knowing, however, it's that same desperation for companionship that is destroying her dear hallownest.
In that same vein, wyrm has actually been spreading a sort of propaganda abt the radiance, painting her in an evil light- an easy thing to do, when she can so easily cause unintentional harm
The ancient civilization once manipulated void similarly to how the wyrm did, but in a far more respectful way. They created tools and art, as well as a variety of different creatures of all shapes and sizes. What I'm trying to get at is void dogs, okay. Imagine.
the void has a will, although more passive and animalistic, but that can still be communicated with. The civilization even went as far as trading with the void for various favors. Likewise, that the pale king used it to inflict so much pain did not go forgotten...
Wyrm begrudgingly learning yet ANOTHER mortal language that he's sure will go out of style in a century or two ANYWAYS

Wrym and other higher beings, on account of their many different tongues of both past and present, each having their own unique yet unsettlingly alien accent.
Just?? The logic behind the dream nail being utterly unperceivable???? Even the action of readying a strike???????
Alt: they cant see the nail but they can see ghost using it, so ghost kinda. Awkwardly covers it up by pretending to stretch, etc.
Alt alt: during battle their foe reacts to an incoming strike, only for ghost to gesture at the empty air a few times
Ghost couldnt see dreams until the power was granted by the dream nail/seer; however some other beings, such as seer or root, can detect ghost’s attempts at dream… “reading” them. Does this trait mean they, too, can see dreams, or is that a separate ability? Could root have ever met marmu again, or would such an encounter be wholly one-sided? On that note; can dreams only ever interact with other dream-like creatures, even thru extension (ghost), or can they not initiate any contact- with anyone- at all?
Alternatively, they can absolutely mess with the real world, which is very funny to think abt.
If dreams are imperceptible to those without the necessary goods, what about shades, or even void in general? We see streaks of void on several corpses and even ghosts, but (to my knowledge) its never actually mentioned; while a bit of a stretch, even the lighthouse corpse doesn't acknowledge it, mentioning a “sea” instead.
The wyrm, as a race, acting less like aloof gods and more like the snobby highschool girls trope
