Some of the stand out things straight away are the amount of documentaries and streaming releases on the list. All of the nature documentaries are astounding. It shows how outstanding the BBC, notably David Attenborough, are in gathering and explaining some of the most incredible aspects of our world. Looking back there are some really strong shows in the list with me enjoying almost all of them. Game of Thrones obviously dropped off at the ned but it was still epic in its portrayal of an even greater world from George R. R. Martin and there are some truly great characters and character development in the show. Breaking Bad I left in due to its seasons running into the decade but I believe most of the people were late to watching it and once it was put onto Netflix it started the craze of binge watching television online. Vince Gilligan was a true artist with how he put together that show and the later spin off of Better Call Saul. Rick & Morty is one of the most rewatchable shows I've ever watched with so many threads that flow through the show and i'm really looking forward to its progression. True Detective, Fargo, Attack on Titan and Dark are my go to shows to inform people about. They're all must watch shows in my opinion and all share a dark mysterious story that I personally love. I really enjoy the film Fargo so was apprehensive on how they were going to turn it into a show but they nailed it. I only recently finished The Boys but loved the take on the genre. It felt like a mix between Watchmen and Heroes both things I like and I loved the humour of the show. Karl Urban is a fantastic actor and I personally feel I missed out on more from his Judge Dredd performance and the hard justice he was dishing out in that film.

A few shows that I would advise that were not mentioned would start with Hannibal. Mads Mikkelsen is Hannibal to me now and the art feel of the transitions between scenes are stunning to watch. The dynamic of the FBI, the murders, alongside the mental health issues and refined elegance of Hannibal puts this easily top 5 all time for me, I couldn't recommend this enough. Next would be Sons of Anarchy which is a very fun show that has brotherhood and its core with a lot of violence. By the end you feel apart of the family of the biker gang and the story loosely based on the hamlet story. The characters are endearing, realistic, with flaws and quirks that make them relatable. You understand and reason the same as they do while they break the law and commit great acts of violence. Vikings is a show with stories that follow and take from the history of the vikings and plays out following the character Ragnar and his sons which again has amazing character development and a great story. Lost in Space is a great return of a compelling action adventure story following a family that gets into many situations that they must pragmatically resolve I hope this show can continue its good form. The same can be said for The Expanse which if more focused on politics and social problems within a solar system but also shares a lot of adventure and problematic situations. The final suggestion would be Star Trek: Discovery. It has all the charms of the older series with conflict and discovery but it is far more real with the CGI and practical effects of the show. I do feel some of the charisma of the characters is lost, though the story has had me engrossed and I look forward to more seasons in the future and seeing how this develops.

I'll be posting another list on the r/movies sub with my list of films of the decade.
