After watching Guava Island, This is America, and a Breakfast Club Interview where Donald tries to communicate information to 'Charlamaigne Tha God' that Charlamaigne refuses to accept, I got to thinking:
Donald creating the art that he makes has potential to land him in possibly dangerous situations. Donald's ideas are incredibly anti-establishment, punk, hippie, whatever you want to call it. His philosophies are the same ones that guided past revolutionaries like MLK, Malcom X etc. (More linked below)
They were murdered.
Simply having those ideas though is not enough for someone to be considered threatening to the powers that be. What truly scares the higher ups(the establishment) is a minority who is competent and capable enough to point out the wrong doings of the establishment in a way that forces the masses to begin asking real questions about the state of things- unshakling people's mental chains.
My point is that Donald is brave. He's courageous. He's a threat to the status quo. If he keeps dropping genius level social commentary, powerful people (or one crazy person) could could grow to despise/fear him. In a world where the nail that sticks out gets hammered down, I just hope he doesn't get hammered down.
