Farfetched idea: Surreal Behemoths

So I've been thinking...

of the nature of behemoths is radically different from that of th monster from Monster Hunter. In that the monsters' abilities seem to be biological in nature, whereas behemoths transcend biology/nature, therefore making there powers supernatural. To be specific, behemoths are capable of feats such as teleportation, cloning, and psionic control over natural elements. And not that monsters are not capable of a lot, but they don't seem to reach that level of power that behemoths are capable of. In other words, monsters are more akin to animals, whereas behemoths are more akin to supernatural entities that transcend nature-bound limitations.

through that realization, I thought maybe there could be behemoths with themes of surrealism. As in behemoths whose morphology and aesthetic design are not organic in nature, but rather inorganic and more based on inanimate objects, similar to works of surrealistic art.

Here are some examples that I thought of:

  1. Seamstress-themed Behemoths - Based on tailor equipment, such as needles, pincushions, threads and so forth. it would probably use needles as projectiles, stitch the slayers together as a form of crowd control and create minions out of fabric.

  2. Zipper-themed Behemoth - A behemoth that has the theme of... well... zippers. It would conjure zippers out of nothing that he can use as means of transportation or temporarily remove a slayer from the fight, among other things. it would also probably use the zipper teeth as means of physical damage. And no... tHiS Is NoT A JoJo ReFeReNcE!

  3. Toolbox-themed Behemoth - Based on anything you can find in a toolbox, ranging from hammers, power drills, wrenchs, and whatnot. Would probably use nails as caltrops, a hammer to smash the slayers and a power drill to dig into the ground erupt violently, among other things.

  4. Fine-china/Tea-party Behemoth - an aberration that borrows its morphology from pourcelain made from the most renowned potters and tea specialists. Has burning-hot saliva that scalds slayers and an exo-skeleton which, when broken, drops razor-sharp shards of pourcelain. Would probably also have healing properties or whatever.

  5. Schoolkit-themed Behemoth - Based on all the things to take to the first day of school, like pencils, erasers, glue dispensers, rulers, and all those other things you take to the first grade (not that I remember since it's been forever since I started the first grade). It would probably use glue to stick slayers to the floor and pencils to impale them and... other things.

  6. Balloon-themed Behemoth - A creature that can inflate itself to fly, release balloon-like floating membrane thingies that would act as airborne mines, and also create balloon animals that would aid it in combat. It would probably also come in a variety of colors.

  7. Chandelier/Candle-themed behemoth - A fire behemoth with multiple appendages that would use wax to neutralize the slayers and would jump high into the air only to dive bomb onto anyone unfortunate enough to stand in its wake.

  8. Wallet-themed Behemoth - A behemoth that would focus on using rams as a form of interaction. Maybe it steals your rams; maybe you need to pay it tribute in order to kill it; maybe he drops rams whenever you break a part. He likes rams... that's the point.

  9. Painting-themed Behemoth - uses art as means of expression, such as painting its own minions to help it in battle, and the colors have varying effects, with red being fire, blue being ice, and any other kind of associations you can think of.

  10. Scissor-themed Behemoth - This one might actually be part of the other ideas I listed here, namely the schoolkit and the seamstress. But if used as its own theme, I think it can be quite interesting, considering that everyone loves scissors! it could throw them as blades, like the Kharabak, or cut open dimensional rifts to teleports from place to place.

  11. Army-themed Behemoth - A creature with the aesthetics and morphology of modern warfare, namely the weapons. It would probably look like a tank that could blast its enemies to kingdom come, have vulcans on each of its shoulders, and would launch a barrage of flaming balls that would come landing down like an airstrike.

  12. Marionette-themed Behemoth - Two behemoths actually! Two behemoths in a symbiotic relationship. One is in control while the other acts as the enforcer. Nevertheless, they work together anyone who would stand in their way (slayers, mostly).

  13. Music-themed Behemoth - A creature with a morphology based around musical intruments. its roar is among the most enchanting, but it will hit you hard with literal notes the size of a boulder.

  14. Flyswatter-themed Behemoth - This one is... uh... swats you... like a fly... or something (I know I had something good for this one)

  15. Giger-themed Behemoth - If this ever makes it into the game, I am NEVER going to fight this guy!

I'm not saying that the behemoths should look exactly like the object/theme they represent, but only borrow elements from it into the behemoths appearance. But nontheless, it should be apparent that the behemoth utilizes those objects

I know this idea is farfetched, But that's why it's just an idea. I thought that maybe it would more expand on the nature of behemoths and what differentiates them from other creatures in their environment. Are they animals... or are they gods?

As the game continue to grows, I'm sure more and more elements will continue to present themselves and expand the pool of possibilities to what makes a behemoth the ambiguous creatures that they are.
