[SPOILER] Hollow Knight X JJBA Lore

Since this is a surprisingly common mashup on this sub (especially in the art), and it just happens to be both my favorite show and my favorite game, I want to discuss what the story form of such a mashup would be. Minor spoilers for mainly parts 1 and 3 and of course, Hollow Knight (and some Silksong speculation).

Part 1: Abyssal Heritage

Now, in common artistic depictions on this sub, the Hollow Knight fills the role of DIO. But it's important to differentiate that Dio and DIO are different. Dio is Dio from part 1, and DIO is the Dio from part 3. The difference is that DIO is Dio's head on Jonathan's body. This is why part 1's Dio is actually the Radiance, and Jonathan is the Pure Vessel. George Joestar I, who is Jonathan's father, is of course the Pale King. But one of Jojo's primary thimgs is family bloodlines, and the Pure Vessel assumedly can't have children, so who is keeping the bloodline alive? I think the gimmick of every part should be that it features one of the Pale King's children.

In terms of story, the ending fits all too well, with the Pale King dying and everything, which leads us into the next part:

Part 2: Silken Bonds

Hornet has the potential to fit the description for Joseph Joestar in every way, from her speed and determination and craftiness to her actual weapon, Silk, similar to Joseph's clever use of string to focus Hamon in various ways. The use of rope of some sort even carries over to his future stand, Hermit Purple. I assume part two would feature the events of Silksong since it's largely unrelated to part 3. Speaking of which:

Part 3: Shade and Soul

Part 3 features the Knight, come to bring the Hollow Knight to justice. These are the events of the actual HK game, where all the bosses are Stand users in the Knight's way. Our team of "Soulgoo Crusaders" is the bosses that don't die when we fight them - so one of the Mantis Lords, the Dung Defender, Josefina Hornetstar, and Quirrel is already on the team as the mentor figure, just like Avdol. The stands are the dream versions of bosses, and what is Knightaro Kujo's stand? The [DREAM NAIL]. In the final battle our heroes achieve the ending Dream No More, in which DIO is completely destroyed forever, and that's the ending in which Hornet lives, similar to how Joseph is dead throughout the fight and is only able to come back to life when Jotaro defeats DIO.

Part 4 and onwards are for the rest of you to decide, but I think it's very interesting how much these two series overlap, especially with the Radiance inside the Hollow Knight mirroring Dio's head controlling Jonathan's body.
