The episode starts with the returning scene of the boudoir room, all of the contestants walking over to the veteran queens that they were paired with. As Fantasia exits the room, the lights grow brighter and brighter, transitioning from the cardinal red they cast before to lighter hues of purple, cascading down onto the lot as they scatter around the room to talk privately about their ideas for their paired floor shows.
WEEK 7 | BOUDOIR ROOM
“So, how are we?”
The camera pans into the furthest corner of the room where Anita and Starry were situated, sitting on the stools next to the mirrors and opening their notepads to begin taking notes.
“I’m doing ok thanks, It’s nice to meet you.” Starry smiles at her, as they both lean in for a hug. “It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, and I’m ready to have some fun.”
“Well, I hope that fun is winning because we’re going to. I can’t afford anything else.” Anita winks at her, before looking over to the other pairs.
“Don’t worry about what they’re doing, or who they’re with.” Starry rubs her arm, before looking down to Anita’s open notepad, the pages littered with masses of ideas. “I’ve got loads of ideas, and it seems like you have to.”
“I think we’ll make an excellent team anyway. Let’s do this.”
They both swivel around to start talking about their floor show ideas, the camera turning and panning towards the other nearest pair, that was Annie and Angie Apathy. The two were clearly getting along well; exchanging ideas and occasionally laughing, drawing the attention of the likes of Erathelle who frowns at how well they are working together, the focus briefly on her for a second before the pair come back into view.
[ERATHELLE]: I’m looking around this room, seeing what others are doing. I’m focused on myself, but I’m just evaluating the competition. I don’t have to worry about Anita, because - SEASLUT.
“I’m so looking forward to doing and seeing these floorshows. It’s such a great and interesting challenge.” Angie flicks through her practical bibles of look ideas, intermittently scribbling out a few of them and looking up to a puzzled Annie, perplexed by the amount she was sorting through.
“I’m really happy to be paired with you. At first I said I wanted someone who I didn’t know, but we still barely know one another and I’m so happy that I got you.” Annie smiles, looking around the room in awe, nostalgic of when she competed. “It’s weird to think on my season we only got to this room at the top 5, and now it’s the top 5 of season three and you’ve all made it this far. I wonder what the manor would’ve been like if it was used this season.”
“Don’t.”
“Don’t what?”
“You don’t want to think about what it would’ve been like to have this season in the manor.” Angie responds, pursing her lips and trying not to laugh. “Can you imagine the amount of stuff around for people to throw at each other and turn into weapons?”
Annie laughs, turning her face from the others and hiding it so it doesn’t appear like they’re talking about them.
“I mean, it would’ve given us something to do with the amount of times someone needed an extension.”
The scene fades to black, a loud bell strike heard and a lightning strike dawning up on the dark abyss, slowly transforming into the text that read: FLOORSHOWS.
Here is the document for the submissions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Du5CkweQIpg5HcD8jE6JnwVmtHGdXsCxpSQ5Z2jttYo/edit?usp=sharing
As the floorshows fade out, the panel scene fades in, the top five ghouls coming into view as they stand nervous on the stage; occasionally shaking in their stance and looking around the room as they wait for Fantasia to arrive. The sound of heels against the cold marble floor echoes around the room, growing closer and closer as a dark figure steps into the light, Fantasia arriving and greeting the king and queens with a smile. The once intense, crimson hue cast down by the stage light slowly softens into a fainter red, brighter lights forming around the host before she starts the critiquing session and determines their fates.
“Hello ghouls, welcome to the seventh judging panel, and congratulations all for making it this far. Top five is an achievement in itself, don’t forget that.” She congratulates them, walking to the large, obsidian throne behind the dimly illuminated panel. “This week, you were paired with one of our five veterans from past seasons to create the first ever hybrid floor shows, you both picked your strongest core and an environment to both appear in. Then, you had to choose a past episode and complete a floor show to that challenge theme. So, let’s see how you did.”
The camera pans to Indigo Child, who stands at the start of the line, wiping a bead of sweat from his forehead.
“Indigo Child, I loved the concept of your floor show this week; the whole idea of being resurrected and brought back to full function by the electric chair is an amazing idea and great use of environment. However, I feel like it came across more as a skit rather than a floor show at times; the mid-section of the submission, or in otherwides the morgue moment, felt more like an acting scene rather than a floor show, which is a shame because prior to that part of the submission everything had such a good smooth flow. It felt more like a skit at one time. That being said, it still did include aspects of horror which you chose as your strongest core, and for what it was, it wasn’t executed that badly, just often blurred the barrier between a floor show and an acting challenge at times. For future reference as these critiques are meant to help you improve, to avoid the same mistake, stray away from using dialogue more than twice and make sure the movement in the floor show doesn't come to a stand still for a storyline that could’ve been shaped more into a floor show at that moment. However, it wasn’t long enough, nor enough like a skit for it to hinder your performance. Bianca, your dress was glorious and was definitely a good representation of glamour in your own kind of way; the way it was formed with the drip like pattern was very unique and the choice of colours worked well. It wasn’t just a simple, obvious go-to ball gown, and it had your stamp on it. It could’ve done with a bit more influence of another core, but you showed horror in your creepy behaviour and elsewhere anyway, just for a bit more diversity to match up to the look it would’ve been nice. Indigo Child, your look was also great, however I do think it tempted a bit more glamour at times rather than horror, but the horror was still predominant enough for me to know you chose it as your strongest core so it need not matter. The odd mixture of camp glamour and horror is something we haven’t seen before, or at least mastered to this level of perfection. Your environment usage and movement description this week was yet again, amazing, and you are so continuously good at it that you never fail to amaze me and it makes me enjoy your floor shows in a way the others dont. The crawling out of the sac, the pulsing of the body on the chair, it all added to the horror of it in a creative way. At times it did come across a bit unrealistic, such as the yellow pulsing under the skin, a bit more explanation on how that was executed wouldn’t go amiss, but overall it did exemply the core of horror and glamour very well which was the aim of the challenge.
Indigo, I know it sounds kind of sad to say this but your second floorshow made me want to cry. When I first made the New Orleans challenge, this is something I always wanted to see, not that I could foresee or predict this unique concept but more so that it fitted so well into the theme of the episode and environment. It was so creative and unexpected, the crown, the makeup to make it appear like bones, the major details like the inscriptions on the suit and the rings, you clearly focused on your critiques where I asked for a bit more emphasis on detail and you rocked it out on this floor show. The initial environment description was literally New Orleans but emerged in a supernatural atmosphere, it was eerie, creepy, and then you appeared and everything about your look was so cohesive to the surroundings it was a joke. You didn’t have to go crazy with the movement, and although at first I was worried when I noticed you had done a suit again, but it was amazingly described and unique in its own right. If glamour is your weakest core, I’d be very surprised after reading this, and the way you incorporated aspects of horror was magnificent. My only suggestion to improve this was that maybe some slight filth could’ve been included other than the bone-like appearance to the skin, but the two cores you shown were represented so strong and so beautifully that it’s a mere suggestion to a piece of art. Great work.”
“Cassandra, the biggest problem here is that I don’t know who is who. Your strongest core to me, from what I can guess, is filth, but neither of your names are stated apart from yours at the end which didn’t really clear anything up. I did really enjoy this floor show, it was the epitome of filth and horror, which is why me not knowing who is who is so annoying because both of you did so well here, especially the queen who did filth/horror. The syringe fingers, everything about it was disgusting and in the right way. Although, a nurse outfit to me is a majorly obvious route to go down, and it has already been done once by a girl this season who also showed filth. However, this was elevated to a much more impressive description, and the environment usage throughout by both people was great. Yet again though Cassandra, you’ve been told this every episode since episode five, the wall of text needs to stop. Your floorshows can be so amazing sometimes, but they will instantly be diminished to a lower standard if the format of it makes it harder to read. You could put the best floorshow on planet earth down into a wall of text format and I would not be able to enjoy it as much as I would be able to because it’s hard and bothersome to understand, and sometimes takes a few re reads on certain parts and you don’t want that to be the lasting impression on whoever reads it. That being said, the use of the Asylum was magnificent and worked both of the cores you chose. Whoever did glamour could’ve stood out a bit more, they felt like just a victim and didn’t take much time to get into the nitty gritty details of the glamorous detail to their outfit, it was still a good look but there was a lot more space to make it more glamorous which is a shame given this is your one shot to show your strongest core. At times, this did seem a bit unrealistic, such as the nail into the forehead, and it could’ve done with a explanation somewhere of how the needles through the eyes was formed, like a mini confessional saying it was SFX. It might seem obvious to interpret from your perspective after writing it, but I don’t want to assume the wrong thing when I have to judge. This was great overall, but it’s the final five, and I have to split hairs to see what ground you did and didn't cover. Looking back at the chat, I can assume Elle did horror, Cassandra did glamour. Elle, your look, although me commenting how filth like it was, was definitely still scary and was a great presentation of horror, whilst Cassandra, you did show a good glamour look, but there was a bit more potential for you to emphasise on the core and do more with it.
Your horror floor show is such a massive step up from your recent floor shows, you followed my critiques of wanting you to do something more conceptual and I am so impressed with what you finally produced. I knew you could think of something like this since week one, and finally you chose to show it. This was scary, and the use of the camera and environment to implement that eeriness was clever. The girl look was good, it wasn’t anything massively special but it definitely fit the original consensus of the challenge and was descriptive enough for me to picture it well. Your second look was way better however, understandably so as this category gives more space for you to do stuff with. It was conceptual and scary at the same time, and very detailed. The wall of text critique applies here again, and at times you did have a mishap when it came to the structure of the floorshow which is a shame as you tend to have really great flow of movement in yours. A suggestion to improve I’d make is keep the level of description the same throughout for the important details, sometimes you’d be so amazingly descriptive, and others you’d use an example reference and then move onto the next thing. I did really enjoy this however, and I am very proud of you. Please though, sort out the structure if you make it through to next week.”
“Anita, your floor show this week was fun to read- wait, ok, maybe I take that back a bit because of the stuff that went down in it, but it was enjoyable to see how it progressed. Your look was very glamour, and although at first I got a bit worried with it just being the dress, you then went on to talk about the additional features like the veins and coral prosthetic stuff to the face, and the design itself was very glamorous. It also made sense when it came to the asylum, it wasn’t just a glamour look that didn’t make sense in the environment, you created a backstory to it with some form of mythology, your usual brand. Starry, your look was also great, I do think it had aspects of glamour also and it was definitely symbolic of filth. It could’ve had a bit more filth rather than only the stains as such, but you exemplified all of that in your interaction with one another. The whole moment with the syringe was very filthy, and it was something you haven't done yet Anita, which was impressive to see. It kind of made me want to gag, the thought of the syringe going into someone's ass, the vomit, it was all very filth which is a good thing. However, I do wish that you remained with some essence of glamour throughout the floor show Anita because you started off with such a glamour-based look, and then kind of lost that demeanour halfway through. I’m not expecting you to be able and sit there and be glamorous whilst throwing up all over the place, but I think you could’ve done something that went on less of a tandem to continuously make it explicit that glamour was your strongest core rather than losing that consistency. But that being said, when you did go on a bit of a tandem you showed both filth and horror which incorporates other cores, so part of me says this shows diversity, but the other part of me wishes you would’ve kept the glamour up somehow whilst doing so.
I also enjoyed your second floor show, the look itself was quite simple but the expression of genderfuck was an impressive style to go for and is good to show filth. Despite the look being quite simple, you managed to still provide something that was still quite edgy, and it was clear that you chose filth; the mud smears, the dark eyes, the erratic behaviour in the environment, the stained teeth. I do think that you could’ve done a bit more of an elevated concept when it came to the look though, you can turn out such ambitious ones with glamour and horror, so it’s kind of a shame that you couldn’t with filth. However, I understand this is already out of your comfort zone which is what this week is about, and I’m still proud of you for what you’ve done. When the environment interaction came along, I think there was a lot of opportunities to do filth with stuff in the forest, and you did at times but then came along this massive fingering moment. I understand that filth has a general shock factor to it, but It would’ve been nice to see you go less literal with the core and not go down the easy, obvious route of sexual gross stuff; although it’s shocking and a clear demonstration of it, it’s an obvious route to go down, which is a shame because your initial concept of showing the behaviour of a scorpio was very interesting, but then it ended up in an interaction anyone would think to pull off in a filth based floor show. I praise you for being able to do all of this whilst sticking to the original challenge, doing this theme and filth is quite hard, and it’s far from a bad floor show, I just think you went a down a bit of an obvious route, and your last floor show on this challenge had a lot of filth to do with the ass also, it would’ve been nice to of seen something else.”
“Erathelle, your floor show this week was very creative and was very representative of horror, but also filth. Portia, your look at first wasn’t majorly filth to me, but I understood how it was shown through the juxtaposition of feminine features with the sudden masculine ones. The nurse outfit has already been done this week by another pairing, and in the past this season, although you didn’t go for a nurse concept, the look itself is still a nurse uniform which is quite an obvious route to go down. That being said, it wasn’t bad at all, and all of the description was reasonable and still representative of the core without it being so literal. The environment description definitely amplified the eeriness, and then Erathelle, this demonic like character you possessed was introduced very well and uniquely into the scene. I enjoyed the look and it was a great showcase of horror, my qualm about it though is that you have done a demonic look based off SFX in the past, and although I must say this one was masses better and did have a different concept, it would’ve been interesting to see how you executed this without having to rely so much on SFX and prosthetics again but rather in a look as a whole. There’s nothing wrong with SFX though, your description was very horror and filthy, two cores that compliment one another really well here, and the metaphor of it was an interesting idea which wasn’t just a simple storyline. It would’ve been nice to see a bit of a different route from you Erathelle for horror, given that you have already done a demonic like look prior to this, but it did show enough diversity and was a mass improvement from your one in the ball episode. You two seemed to work well together, and your two ideas fitted well into a whole floor show. At times, I would’ve liked you to have been a bit more physically there rather than just appearing in the windows or reflections, because you limited yourself to your environment interaction and movement, missing out potential opportunities to convey more creepiness than just continuously showing up in reflections bar the end where you once again came into physical presence. You created such an amazing look that it would’ve been cool to see interact with the environment more, and that you had already described the surroundings so well that it’s a shame you didn’t choose to do so.
Your second floor show was a great concept and was uniquely applied to challenge that was originally so glamour based and quite innocent; you went in the opposite direction but in a good different way that was interesting to read. It wasn’t filth in the sense that you went down an obvious route, but the blood pouring onto you and you getting, uhm, turned on by them thoughts was another unique approach and was intriguing, a nazi vampire who festers on Jews blood. The look itself was ok, it wasn’t massively filth and wasn’t too ambitious, but was suitable for the creative concept at hand. I would’ve preferred a bit more filth before the all of the events played out, such as the blood vile and the blood downpour, but the slow build up to it was executed really well. But because the look didn’t show any filth majorly, it felt more like it was representative of horror because there was no major signifier of filth in there up until the blood came in. I think you’re so used to being really strong at writing horror into your floorshows, and you don’t really have a weakest core, and horror is always going to be predominant in your submissions that there needed to be something more here that shown filth to create a balance between how much you shown of the two cores. Not even necessarily in the outfit, but maybe a bit more amplification on the gritty details of the veins and faint cracks beneath his skin, there was some small opportunities that could’ve been fulfilled to make sure filth was covered on all grounds, but I really enjoyed all of this and although I think It’s a character you’ve portrayed on a previous challenge, you showed a different side to them and it just goes to show for how diverse you are.”
“Angie, your floorshow had such an intriguing concept that I was in a trance for the whole of it, this was such an unexpected use of this environment and I did not expect anything that happened. Every second had me wondering what was coming next, and although at first I saw ‘tutu’ and was like oh no, your outfit Annie was beautifully described and the way it was cohesive to the environment was so satisfying, the embroidery of flowers and then the addition of the real ones, the gentle colour pallet and soft makeup, everything about this reads glamour through and through. At one point I did question that the likes of the embroidery was quite an expected use for glamour, but then the details kept coming, and this glorious concept of being stuck in a dream like state, everything seeming so happy until she comes across another dancer was so unique and eerie, so much so that you both made the cores of glamour and horror compliment each other without either of them being literal in the way you represented them, and in a way we’ve never seen before. Angie, you delivered horror so unexpectedly, the forced to smile, the inevitable fate of being cursed to a life of that, the discomfort, it all made me feel on edge which is a quality of a true horror floor show. You shown glamour also, but the in-depth descriptions of the bones beneath the skin, the blood, and the final moment, that gave me spine chills because of how good and how eerie it was. I was so in awe throughout, then Annie had her moment to show some horror in that ending, and ooh girl, that was one hell of a conclusion. My one qualm is that I think your two looks could’ve varied a bit more in terms of silhouette, but I understand the concept called for them to be similar, but one full of life and the other ancient and old, drained of life, so I can’t ask for that really as it would’ve been out of reach for your idea. I honestly really enjoyed this, and you took this environment and did something so unexpected with it, everything was at a continuous high standard and left me at the edge of my seat.
Your second floor show was also a really unique approach to filth, the concept wasn’t rushed and explicitly stated at mid floorshow with the look description, it slowly progressed and was revealed more and more with time. The look wasn’t as filth based but the details of the spit and the snot, the busted lip and bruised skin, it all contributed to present it and ultimately so at the ending where all of the stitches began to unravel. I do think the look itself could’ve done with a bit more detail, there was enough there but there’s always room for you to elaborate a bit more on the dress as it gives more effect to the filth aspects when they come into play; the juxtaposition between what was once a nice dress against the snot and spit stains. However, I do think you showed filth a lot, and you also incorporated both glamour and horror at some point within the look and environment usage. It would’ve been cool to have seen more interaction with the surroundings, but the escalation of her running and then falling built up the tension and kept it interesting throughout, had you stopped to start interacting with the trees or flowers it would have ruined your flow/momentum. Good work.”
Fantasia jokingly gasps for air, catching her breath after the mass of critiques.
“Thank you veteran queens for being amazing this week and letting a dream challenge come true. You all did great this week, and worked really well with the contestants, and I couldn’t thank you more. You may leave the stage.”
Bianca, Annie, Starry, Portia and Elle leave their partners sides, hugging them before leaving the stage and heading to a different room where they could watch the results on screen.
“Right, thanks for being patient, that was one hell of a long session. Before I determine the results, I just want you all to know that this week was there was no bottom worthy submissions, but there has to be a bottom two. Whoever that is however, do not feel like your work was bad, because no ones was, in fact all of these probably form the best group of submissions to an episode we’ve had in a long time. Walk out with your head held high if you’re eliminated, and be proud of the work you produced.”
They all nod, staring at her as she looks down at each and everyone of them. The lights grow darker again, the tense atmosphere about the room growing and growing, similar to the nauseous expressions upon the queens faces.
“Cassandra, this week, your floor show improved massively, but your glamour didn’t hit the mark as much as I hoped it would, and you have shown attention to critiques, but have lacked behind on one specific one for two episodes time. I’m sorry my dear, you’re up for extermination.”
Cassandra sighs, looking down and back up, flustering slightly. Angie Apathy rubs her arm to provide comfort, Cassandra thanking her as she looked back to the panel.
“Anita Dragname, your floorshow looks this week were greatly conceptual as usual, but when you stepped out of your comfort zone to show filth, you went down quite an obvious route that was lacklustre in comparison to your looks. You’re also in the bottom two of the week.”
A bell strike echoes around the room after the bottom two are announced, Anita nodding but still clearly upset by her placement.
[CASSANDRA]: I’m scared. I know I’ve been joking about going this episode for a while, but that didn’t mean to say I thought I was at risk of going.
“Erathelle, your nightmare floorshow with Portia left us scared for our lives, and your vampire look made for an immortal excellence, but read off more horror than your chosen weakest core. You’re safe, you may go to the back of the stage.”
Erathelle gasps, sighing with relief but also slight disappointment from her drive to win another challenge, hugging Angie who was nearest to her before leaving and stepping out of view.
“Angie Apathy, your paired floorshow with Annie left us in an eternal curse of awe, and your filthy zodiac signs look left me battered with shock. Indigo Child, your floor show with Bianca was a mixture of camp glamour and horror that we’ve never seen before, but the real shock came with your New Orleans floorshow that swept me off my feet…” .

. “Angie Apathy, congratulations you’re the winner of this weeks floorshow. But, I also cannot disregard the excellence of your floorshows this week Indigo, so Indigo Child, you’re also the winner of this weeks challenge.”
Indigo’s jaw drops to the floor, Angie turning to him and engaging in a tight hug, whilst the others try to get a grasp of what had just happened.
[INDIGO CHILD]: I’m happy to have finally have won. It’s about damn time.
“I’ve been avoiding a double win all season, because they should only be used on special occasions. Although all of the submissions this week were great, Indigo, you brought a mixture of two styles we haven't seen before and executed it very well, and Angie, your concepts in both looks were very unique and unexpected. Well done.”
[ANGIE APATHY]: I’m not mad, a win is always nice, and I’m safe to move on for next week. I’m happy Indigo finally won something though, I would’ve gone crazy if I hadn’t with that amount of highs.
“As you know, the normal method of elimination is the winner sending someone home. This week is not a double elimination, so you both must agree on one person to send home, unless one of you wants to volunteer with permission of the other to do it by yourself.”
The winning two stare down at Cassandra and Anita, baffled about how they’re going to make such a decision.
“Oh, and also, I did say that Pandora's Box would finally come into play this episode, but to avoid having any influence on the decision, you will only find out what it does as the elimination is announced.”
[ERATHELLE]: Y’all best believe that if a bitch is in that box I’m destroying it, no heifer is going to walk into this late into the game, especially when the next challenge is mine to win.
“Good luck all, and a final congratulations to everyone for such great floorshows this week.”
The scene cuts to blackness, ending the second part of the episode.
I apologise for how short this episode is, I wanted to make sure all of the critiques could fit. All of you did really well this week as a reminder, so much so that I had to re read all of your floorshows at least twice, some more so than others, and refer to Smacahoe (who was very helpful and I am thankful for) to see what she thought also. This is one of the tightest weeks I think we’ve ever had in the history of the show.
To Cassandra and Anita, none of you have bottom worthy submissions in my eyes, so despite the spreadsheet reading red with a bottom placement, your submissions were amazing, but we have to have a bottom two out of everyone who submitted this week.
Thank you all veteran queens for being so great and coming back to compete again, I love you all and couldn’t thank you more for doing this episode with them. I hope to see you on a all stars some day, maybe.
Good luck!
