Addition to last post: Don't Starve/Don't Starve Together and DDLC crossover (warning: basically a essay)

So, you decided to scroll by through new. Congrats! You've found this....post. If you find my last post (check profile) about what crossovers you guys like to see air mentioned DS and DDLC. And since I'm pretty bored and got nothing to do, I thought I'd go in more depth about this crossover.

First, what is Don't Starve/Don't Starve Together? Don't Starve is a single player survival game that takes place in a alternate dimension called the constant. There's many things in that world that want you dead, including giants with bad puns for names, pig men, temperature, certain foods, weather and the darkness. This is expanded upon in other DLC, such as Shipwrecked, Hamlet and Reign of Giant.

Now why would I want a crossover between these two games? First off, in it'd be in character for Monika to try and save the literature club by transporting them into another game.

But why Don't Starve, you may ask? Because the art style is simple, it's got 2-D graphics and no voice acting. That's the seller, the biggest reason for why Monika was able to mess with DDLC is because it has these exact same things.

If one were to, say, transport one of the Doki's to Mortal Kombat (not that I would want that) that would require 3-D models with detailed textures, voice acting and animation. To make a AAA that nails coding alone could take up to a year, and if we go for the biggest titles it can take up to five years. That's not counting the fact that voice acted lines can't be changed as easily as simple sentences.

As mentioned before, Don't Starve is a much better option because there's not much to change. Animations are simple, art is easy to draw, and there's no voice acting. The main problem would be writing all the examination lines, and with the .chrt files that might be done automatically. She'd just have to make the 2-D character models match the art style.

Don't Starve Together is the same thing, just it's multiplayer and even more dangers. This only means the club can be brought back together, and speaking of the club...

I'm actually working on each of the characters perks right now, so this giant block of text ends here. When they're all done, I'll extend this even further. Can't wait to see you then! Feel free to suggest anything about this idea in the comments.
