Nail salon recs? Salons that don't damage nails?

Hey

I've had mostly bad experiences after getting my nails done. 1) Cuticle damage from getting them cut. Even when I ask places to not cut the cuticle they still manage to damage them...and I'm honestly not sure if they know what they're doing 2) Damaged nails from gel application and gel removal.

I know how to google, but word of mouth is better...and searching for 'doesn't damage nails' doesn't work.

Edit: This is awesome! Thank you everyone for the res. I didn't expect for there to be so many nail art loving peeps here. I booked an appointment with Dry & Tea (aka City Works Salon) for one colour gel nails and eye makeup! I'll post pics of a the results for you guys.

We should start up a nail art sharing page to review different salons around the city :)
