[HIRING] Need an artist to help realize a super hero fan-concept

Hey all! I’ll keep this simple and brief- a little context to lead, followed by my actual request below.

It’s been my dream to write my own Spider-Man comics. For the past few years I’ve been workshopping ideas, and the past few months I’ve been trying to nail down a design, which I feel I’ve finally done. However, I’m no artist! Clearly, or I wouldn’t be here.

I don’t plan to do the entire comic any time soon- I can neither do it myself, nor do I have the budget to pay an artist to do it. Plus, it still needs to be written! However, what i do desperately want is to see my version of Spidey realized in a way that feels like it belongs on the pages of something Marvel themselves would publish.

I have a (very) rough, poorly done mock up of what I want the suit to look like in terms of colors and overall design. What I need is an artist- preferably with experience or expertise in drawing in a comics-like style- to take the design I’ve made and really draw it in a way that I feel does it justice!

If this isn’t super clear, we can discuss further, but I basically just need my little-kid-chicken-scratch-esque design made into an actual, proper piece of art. And, if all is well and I’m lucky enough to cobble together some funds in the immediate future, I’d want to return back to the same artist to get a piece of the character out of costume, of their villains, etc etc. And, if anyone is wondering- yes, this HOPEFULLY could turn into a commission for a full comic, which I’d be happy to pay the price for, though that wouldn’t be the case until the beginning of next year, which is both when I anticipate the script to be fully finished, and when old Uncle Sam will give me the money I need to pay for it ^;

My budget currently for this single piece is somewhere between $15-$40 depending on how lucky I am with tips over the next few days, but we can always talk shop later! And if any artist has the time or willingness to give /me/ a little time, my budget could also be more flexible.
